I just saw that the nature trail at Wilderness lodge is being closed as part of refurbishment over there. Is there another way to get to the lodge from the campground? We will have our bikes.

There are 2 trails to the WL. A paved albeit dark path and the sand nature walk by the beach.

Thank you! I thought the nature trail and bike path were one in the same.

Well be biking it over to WL for breakfast this December. Do we need to bring a bike lock? What about a 10-15 min bike ride?
Thanks
Chris

We are going to do the same. But, one evening we have ressies at Artist point. Is there a bus that can take us or is it easier to take the boat?

There is a bus, but the boat is easier.

Of course, there is very little and no close parking area for bikes.

Did they close the area with the bike parking right by the bike rental at WL? It was super convenient last time we were there. If so, I wonder where we could park. We have a chain lock that locks all our bikes together, but we don't all have kickstands.

On many nights, there is a plastic "chain" keeping folks from the area, for the safety of the guests.

And, if bama_ed or tiggerdad, you just go to the lake and walk across the water.

Skipper, you're almost right.

See, tiggerdad would probably walk over there on water.

Me, on the other hand, I would part Bay Lake to walk over there.

We Bama fans are just trying to hunker down and wait for Saturday night. Gonna be a party for one team in T-town. Both coaches are working on their game plan as we speak.

1) Too much effort to part the waters.
. . . need to find a BIG ROCK upon which to stand
. . . need to carry a big schtich
. . . need to yell loudly at the sky
2) But, walking is a simple task.
3) I prefer to hover.
