Biking to catch the boat or busses?

Quick question that I can't seem to find an answer to through searching:

If we have bikes, will it be possible for us to ride our bikes from our site over to the areas where we can catch the boat to MK or the busses to other parks?

I guess I'm asking if there are plentiful bike racks available at the Outpost and Settlement Depots where we could lock them up and leave them all day. I figured that if we could, it might save us some time over having to use the internal bus system.

Thanks!

Yes, there is plenty of space for bikes at the front entrance or near the docks. Be aware though, if you plan on returning to the Fort after dark, the bike paths are not well-lit and I would not recommend riding after dark unless you have lights on the bikes.

Biking abound the fort and WL are our favorite part of FW.You can get to any bus stop, boat, store or pool by Bike.
I'll never forget riding bikes to the beach and back at night to watch the fireworks with my daughters when they were younger.

Yes, make sure you have lights, and even reflective clothes, or shoes, or whatever.

As others have noted, I'm mostly sure that lights are required on all bicycles at night - should be, anyway. You can't be seen by others, and you can't see them, as there are several dark areas.

Also, a tip, because of frequent rains, you might want to tie a plastic bag over your bike seat when you are gone - sure beats a wet seat!! ;)
