It seems like most people have recommended waiting until Castaway Cay to rent equipment (bikes, floats, snorkels, ...) rather than booking them in advance. I got excited yesterday when our My Disney Cruise site now shows things we can book in advance, but I don't want to get too carried away if it's better to wait.
Is it correct that the only way you would be refunded for those advance rentals is if the ship is unable to dock at Castaway Cay? (At least I would hope it would be refunded if you can't even get to the island!)
Is it correct that there are always plenty of bikes, floats, and snorkel equip. available if we wait?
I was tempted to do the package with all 3, but after thinking it through, it's unlikely all 4-5 of us would need to be on a float/tube at the same time. And it sounded like the 2nd half of the day there are usually floats/tubes that people left out and were done with?
And I want my boys to try snorkeling, but not sure how it will work out. Do they have lots of different sizes of masks for the kids?
