Bikes at WL/FW

I know there are bikes for rent, and there is that biking/walking path between WL and FW...but where else could I ride...can I ride all around FW?? (I did on my own bike when I was there for the triathlon in May, but don't know if there are boundaries for their bikes.)

I thought someone told my DH that he couldn't ride anywhere on resort property but that the main roads were okay.

I suppose you could ride on the main roads in and around Disney because those are open to traffic and I believe cyclists are considered actual traffic. Did that make sense?

Well...this trip I am going just to get away and won't have my real bike...so I wondered if the rented resort bikes have limitations. In case I'm a "good triathlete" and go for an hour spin.

We rented bikes at FW & rode over to what was then Dixie Landings to visit other family members who were staying there. No one told us where we could or couldn't go. Of course, that was in 1998 & things might have changed since then.
