We've used a buggy on our last two trips and never used a bike lock. Just parked it up and took any valuables, we've had no trouble!
Can I ask, do you bother locking up hired buggies or just your own?
You are not supposed to chain your buggy to anything in the park as the CM's have to able to move them at all times incase of emergencies
Outside in the Village like at Café Mickey you can and I would as they are stolen from here on occasion![]()
I've chained mine up in front of CM's and they've never said anything to me. Obviously I wouldn't chain it up anywhere - it's always out of the way and put with all the other buggies.
As we know the CMs at DLP are anything but consistant![]()
you only have to look at the smoking threads to see that![]()
Do you think a combination lock or keys would be better? dont want to lose the keys but wouldnt want a combination lock to get stuck. Thanks. x
I cant decide if to get a lock or not for our trip next monthour buggy only cost me £5 (dont get me wrong its in fab condition it was just a bargain I brought 2nd hand!) and it has very loud circle colours all over it so I think that is a deterant in itself?!!
BUT i would be pretty p'**d off if we had to carry our 3 year old if he was tired

Ours is a key - but either will be fine. I just keep the key in my purse so i know where it is.
I'm the same...it's not the buggy i'm really bothered about. We only use it to go away with now - it's the thought of having to carry our little ones if someone did take off with it! The thought of carrying a little one around in disney for hours/days is a scary thought........![]()
