whgrn- Here is the 1lb post that was made last week sometime. I'm sorry that I can't remember who posted it first.
If I lose just 1 pound weekly starting today, Feb. 6th, I will be:

By Valentine's Day, 1 pound lighter

By St. Patrick's Day, 5 pounds lighter

By Easter, 6 pounds lighter

By Mother's Day, 13 pounds lighter

By Father's Day, 18 pounds lighter

By Independence Day, 20 pounds lighter

By Labor Day, 28 pounds lighter

By Halloween, 37 pounds lighter

By Thanksgiving, 41 pounds lighter

By Christmas, 45 pounds lighter

By New Year's Eve, 46 pounds lighter!!!
 
I love that 1 lb a week thing. That will be printed and taped into my datebook!:goodvibes
 
I'm not reporting my weight this week. It's too much :rolleyes1 .

BUT I have been walking a lot more than I usually do, which is GREAT! I've walked 11.5 miles - starting on Ash Wednesday. I make Lenten "action" resolutions during every Lent, along with the standard giving up of stuff (this year no potato chips, no alcohol during the week - maybe some on a Sunday). So my Lenten resolution this year is to walk at least 7 miles every week. I'm SO excited that so far this week I've made it to 11.5 - I think I'll do another mile or two today and I'll get up to around 13 or 14 for the WEEK.

And that's pretty cool.

For those of us who are felling discouraged, think about *this*...
Would you let ANYONE else speak to you the same way your inner self does? If you hear yourself saying "Oh, I'm so overweight/fat/etc./etc.", think... Would you ALLOW anyone else to say that to you?
Then don't.
TODAY - Stop the Negative Train before it has a chance to steamroll over your spirit. Don't go there, don't let it get out of the station, get off and get a different ride.

I reported this on the last thread, since I w/i on Sunday's but I am down 2.4 this week, the same that I gained last week. My goal this week is to lose the .6 that I gained the week before last so I can go forward toward my goal. I would like to be at my goal by my Birthday in May. That means I have 20 pounds to lose in 3 months. I know it is doable but the closer I get the slower the weight moves.
 
I'm up less than a pound, .7, a simple blip because of my period and I still hate it. It was no different of a week. And I hate posting it. Hate it. Did I mention I hate it? :rotfl: And I'm still irrational about it because it's been a fantastic week for inches, ie. feeling different in my body etc. and that doesn't seem to help my head about it all. Okay I'll stop now. :lmao: Can you tell it has also put me in a very foul mood? ;)

But I'm still here. :thumbsup2 Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

Congratulations to all the losers. A great week for most of us. Fantastic. A special :cheer2: to my buddy Dona for her 2! Terrific.

And best wishes to all the maintainers and gainers. Here's to a good week on the scale next week. If I don't whip mine over my terrace that is.

I am down 1 lb, its a loss so I will take it! I made some bad choices this week and fell down my steps last Monday so I didnt get in exercise like I should have

ONWARD AND DOWNWARD, I do get a new clippie though:)

Way to go, buddy. I had a loss this week also. I'm down 5 pounds. I guess if I just put my mind to it, it works!

Off to email dare2dream.
 
WOW can you believe it is week 7 already????

You guys have had some great posts this morning things to really remember. I do tend to beat myself up (especially when trying on new clothes)

And the 1 lb saying is so true it really does add up and we get upset when we don't see BIG numbers but just the single lbs really add up.

Ok well I've been MIA fora bit my buddies know what happened. I have slacked off big time in recent weeks, first I was sick and that took a lot out of me then my husband had his wisdom tooth abscess and he was a mess for over a week with that, plus the kdis have been getting snow days left and right.

I did buy a new scale today (my other ones broke..husband left wet boots on it over night) And I am happy to see in the last 3 weeks I didn't gain all the weight back, I only gained back 2.2lbs!

I was really scared to go back on the scale I was sure I gained all 6.5 lbs back but nope. NOw I feel a renewed sense of how right this all is for me. I know I can do this. So next week you'll see me back under 200lbs!


OH also wanted to add that my daughter turned 5 on Sunday and guess what my sister delivered her 2nd little girl on Sunday as well lol..So now my daughter gets to share her birthday! Mommy and baby are healthy and home

Finally, a loss to report. :banana: And it was down both on Thursday for WW weigh-in and this morning for BW4 weigh in, so I'm sure it is a real loss.

I haven't been very good at the challenge this week. Though luckily I'm okay on the daily guidelines of veggies/milk/water, so that will help.
I'm not much of a cook, so I don't have any new and great recipe websites to mention that haven't already been posted. But here is what I use the most.

And google.com. I often just put in what I'm looking for in their general search area, like -"quinoa recipes", and see where it takes me.

Not giving up though! Gonna get that scale to move in the right direction one of these weeks!!!
