This sounds like a great idea . . . I would love to play . . . however I will miss the first weight loss weigh in on the 11th b/c I'll be in Disney. Is that ok?

Hi everyone!
I won't be joining this year, but I just wanted to say what a wonderful challenge this is! I joined last year and lost a fair bit of weight (and have kept it off minus a couple pesky vacation pounds!). Being able to talk to other challengers about the struggles, the successes and everything in between was invaluable. I would have loved to join this year and lose more weight, but I have too much on my plate this fall to participate in the challenge (and to post regularly), but I will be following all your successes. I hope you don't mind having a cheerleader around!!

This is perfect timing!! Tomorrow is the final weigh-in at my company's Biggest Loser contest, and not to brag or anything, but I think I will winWe've been doing the Biggest Loser at work since June 1st, and each week I've been in the lead. I'm fairly confident that I will win tomorrow. I'll post back and let you all know! lol

at this point i'm thinking we'll continue to list out WISHers in order of sign-up -- let's say midnight EST on Sept 3rd -- then on the 4th we'll divide the list into three teams, as equal as possible depending on the number of sign-ups. like if there are 30 signed up, listed in the order of their post, then WISHers 1 - 10 will be Blue team; WISHers 11 - 20 will be Red team; and WISHers 21 - 30 will be Black team. just as example, colors don't matter really they don'tActually we'll take the team captains out of the list and put them in with teams in respect to their order of sign up too.
does anyone object to that method or have a better way?
Thanks, I just have to not gain 10 pounds when I am on the Disney Magic for 2 weeks. Perhaps I should just starting weighing in once I am back. Nope, I am determined to not gain on my trip, so I am using my pre-trip weight as my starting weight. I know it will be a challenge but I know I can do it.![]()
