Hi everyone! Just checking in before I'm off for the day again...I have a busy week next week too but that's good, keeps me out of the kitchen!

I am trying not to exercise today - ha ha ! but am going to make myself, I can squeeze 30 minutes in as long as I get off the computer! School's out at 11:40 today and then I'm taking dd and a friend to the Zoo Boo, a Halloween thing so I'll get lots of walking in there. It's chilly here - in the 40's and raining! I guess that's good for me though since my body will have to work to keep me warm!
Thanks for starting the thread Sheila - I really appreciate it! And congratulations on your pound loss!!

Your sticking to your pattern!
LauraJean - awesome job - 2 pounds!! WTG!!

And a total of 11.5

- that's great!! Are your clothes loose on you??
WDWFan9 - great job on the 2 pounds! Your dd's wedding didn't slow you down!
Helenk, WDW4life, QuiltTeddy, Lesli54 and RobinB - fantastic job at NOT gaining - sometimes staying even is hard to do! Your bodies are still working and adjusting - WTG!
K&K's Mommy - great job - another 1/2 pound (or 2 sticks of butter!!) gone...slow and steady keeps it off.
Terry - congrats on your pound loss!

I was thinking of you during that dark evening this week...
MinnieMouseMom - this week belongs to you! Keep up the exercise and the great attitude and that extra .8 will be flushed away (pun intended

)
I stayed even for the week, my extra Disney pounds are hanging around for a while. I'm still having a hard time with my eating, I need to restock the fridge and that will make a HUGE difference I'm sure! I'm staying off the scale because my ring is tight and I think it will be up so I'm not weighing until Tuesday when it will be down again! That's my plan and I'm sticking to it.
Christie (dopey4disney) is sick and wiped out, some flu or other nasty something. Hopefully she'll be feeling better soon!
My exercise for the week...So far just Wednesday, 40 minutes. I'm off to get today's in...
Keep posting everyone! Keep up the great work!

We're in week 6 and this is the tough time to get through...it's been going on for a while and the initial excitement is gone. This is a lifestyle we're adjusting to and like all changes there are times we will want to dump it and go back to our old comfortable ways...but they're not really that comfortable are they? That's why we've all made the decision to take this challenge, to challenge ourselves to become the healthy strong energetic people we know we are... to borrow from a well known 12-step program - one day at a time, for me sometimes it's one meal at a time. It becomes overwhelming when I want to quit so I have to focus on the small things and yes my meals have become smaller!

Your posts have helped motivate me...thanks everyone!!
