HAPPY NEW YEARS


Good morning. It is freezing here in jersey. I slept in my long sleeve thermal Fort Wilderness night shirt (I only put it on when it is really cold or snowing and it did both last night.) DS2 went to a party and spent the night with some college friends. Ds1 had a party here with some of his friends. Dh stayed up to watch football and I went to bed about 10. I wanted to see the fireworks on the Travel Channel but couldn't stay awake.

I don't know what we are going to have for dinner tonight since we have been invited to a friend's house to watch the Rose Bowl. She will have leftovers from her NYE party that we skipped last night.I don't know if we are going or not. She has a tendancy to invite a lot of people to some of her parties. Many of them have no idea about football and it is hard to watch the game that way. If we don't go I can always make a pizza since I have the stuff to make dough and there is sauce and cheese in the frig.

Happy new years everyone! Hope everyone had an enjoyable and safe night. I didn't get called in, which was awesome since I was up almost the entire night before (2am and on) I couldn't sleep So last night I was SOOOO tired! Made it to 12 and then I don't even remember past putting my head on the pillow!

Hey everyone,

We had a wonderful evening. We went to the Mirage on the strip around 8pm and we got to meet David Cook from American Idol. He was so polite and sweet. I got a new camera for Christmas and was having problems getting it to work right. He told me to take my time and was so sweet even though I was taking forever. When I get home I will post a picture of my kids and him.

We also got to see Robbie Knievel jump at the Mirage. I got a good video of this, although afterwards seeing the 3 jumps on tv, we wished we would have saw the other Robbie jump at the Paris Hotel. His jump was so cool. But- my son was so excited to see Knievell jump and since Evel was such an icon growing up it was pretty exciting to actually see his son jump. Boy is he old looking now though, lol.

I hope everyone had a great New Year's Eve and a wonderful New Years. We are all going to be Loser's this year
