Biggest Loser Again

The TMZ article makes it sound like they are letting people from other seasons come in, not people who were kicked off this season. If that's the case, I can understand maybe being a little upset. I'm nto sure how they would do that though. If it is the people from this season- deal with it.

Maybe they should change how the prize is awarded. Still pick from at home and on campus, but whoever loses the most gets the 250 and the other person gets the 100.

I really enjoyed the show in the beginning when people were there to lose weight, get healthy and change their life. I don't see that with most of the people on the show this season.

As someone who has struggled with weight all my adult life, I'd give anything to have the opportunity to work out with Bob or Dolvett and have them teach me.

I think the show needs some rule changes - if you gain weight you are automatically up for elimination, regardless which team you are on. another idea....the 2 or 3 people with the lowest percentage of weight loss for the week are up for elimination. I remember in previous weeks, people would have gotten to 100 lbs already, the percentages so far this season seem low for most of the women.

In regards to a walk-out, I'm sure there are contracts that were signed and consequences for any actions they may take. I wouldn't care if they all walked off, never to return to the show, it is not a fun season - maybe the are cursed for being season 13.

I have an idea for a rule change too. At the season finale, declare a winner as usual (with a nominal non-cash prize), but withhold the money until the following year's finale and only award it if the winner has gained back no more than 5% of his/her finale weight. For example, a woman who won with a weight of 120 couldn't weigh more than 126 at the following year's finale. This would serve two purposes: Contestants (especially female) wouldn't lose so much that they looked anorexic at the finale, and the year's wait would determine if the winner did, indeed, learn anything.

How much do you think the producers will pqy me for these brilliant ideas?:rotfl2:

Also, how about a BL for those with disabilities? I'm sure they could figure out some way to modify the workouts to accommodate various disabilities. How inspiring wwould THAT be?!

I like both your ideas! You're hired! :thumbsup2

I miss the yellow line. then you only had a choice of 2 people kept the game play down a bit & then you say I picked the one with the lowest %. Would have changed this whole season.

per the TMZ report - :confused3

the producers "asked" the current cast? Really? I find that hard to believe. I'm thinking ratings are down, buzz on this season is we dont like the drama, we dont like this cast - so how does BL producer salvage ratings? Drama. Drama creates ratings... but, wait, we have the worst drama going on with this cast, and wth? Ratings are slipping? (dont you want to tell the producers to get a clue?)

I still dont believe the producers go and tell the current cast what the twist is going to be...

unless there is potential for ratings and media hype.

imo

The drama continues.... oh wait should I not post this, there seems to be differing views on "spoilers" being shared on these TV show threads..... I'll do what I did before, just post the latest news from TMZ in gray... Here goes, hope I don't ruin the rest of the season for anyone..

The "Biggest Loser" has trimmed some serious fat ... TMZ has learned TWO of the contestants who walked off the set this week have been cut loose for good ... and the show will continue without them.

TMZ has obtained photos taken today at the "Loser" ranch ... where production has resumed following a mass mutiny this week. TMZ broke the story ... several competitors stormed off the show in protest after getting word about a possible game "twist" that would give previously eliminated losers a shot at the $250k prize.

Sources connected to the show tell us ... producers are considering using the mutiny as a story point.

NBC is still refusing to comment on the situation.

I have been watching for around three and a half years now and even the Vicky/Heba drama pales to this season. I though the way Aqua team was treated from the get go was just wrong. Yes, Aaron has a tendancy to run his mouth but the poor guy knew he was odd man out the minute he came back.

I really like Roy and Chris, she is probably gone next week and I also like Buddy a lot. Cassandra is also nice although the way she paricipted in that debacle of a thrown weigh in had me losing respect for her big time. Kimmy and Emily are so so. The rest, I pretty much can't stand. Mark and his annyoing son (who looks like a big dopey mop head) both make sick. And then there is Conda. Omg, she needs to be kicked off that show along with her bff wrestler buddy and her oaf of a brother. The eye rolling those three do makes me sick. Kim can weep all she wants about her daughter's missed birthday, she's still a female dog.

Chism was miffed Chris wrote his name down. Of course he can treat her with no respect whatsoever but if she dare write his name down, well that's a major offense.

I am not one bit surprised the weight losses are so low, with all the time they spend stabbing each other in the back and all the stress on that ranch, its no wonder.

I admired Roy for just getting out of the fray and walking on his own. And they kicked him off for it.

Bob is right, they are bullies. Although I don't miss Jillian per se, I highly doubt this out of control behavior would be happening if she were still there. It would have been fun to see Conda act this way with Jillian!

If in fact there has been some sort of walk out, that pretty much tells me that Kim, Jeremy and Conda are all still there. I suppose this drama helps ratings, however if this mess results in a big walk out and shut down season, maybe BL will learn a lesson about not letting contestants run so wild. Conda has basically been like a cancer that has eaten into both teams.

Whoever screened the contestants this season did a really poor job. I don't miss Jillian at all, but I do agree that she would definitely not stand for some of the nonsense that is being pulled.

Hopefully, they can salvage the season, before the ratings hit rock bottom. I always enjoy the twists and turns that happen each season. However, it does seem that this season, the contestants are trying to run the show, rather than playing by the rules.

For the TMZ reports - wouldn't that be for the cast that is NOT on the air right now? I thought that when they air the current season they are actually starting to tape the next season.

I am not sure how much time is in between the last taping (not the finale) and when they start to air the season. Any one know?

If I'm not mistaken this season that we are watching was filmed while we watched last season show. If that makes any season lol.

So we're supposed to believe that the next season's contestants are even more unstable and only focusing on the monetary prize more so than the current ones??? I don't think so, the show is maybe 6 weeks behind, not months and months.

What I find ridiculously immature is that all of the black team members were upset that Daphne didn't come forth and be honest about eating all of those peanut butter cups AND THEN none of them were honest about throwing the weigh in.

I wonder how things would have turned out if Chris had won the temptation...:upsidedow

Ok i didn't see the whole show, so who ate stuff?

I too am confused as to who is walking out from what season. Maybe its the marathon episode or the last episode before the current season all go home or something?

I so agree that whoever casted this show did a very poor job. Frankly, most of the ones who still remain are all very unstable and not that likeable.

Also, I have noticed they have done little to no character development. And since they split up each team, I get confused sometimes who is with who.

I think the very way they split up each team set the tone for the show. I didn't like that at all. Nor do I like the way they didn't let one team into the ranch at all. I didn't like that a few seasons ago when two teams didn't make it in and had to compete (Sunshine and O'Neill got back in that time).

I was wondering too, because if they are filming about 6 weeks ahead, there can't be too many even left on the ranch.
