~ BIGGEST LOSER ~ 9 ~ COUPLES ~ SPOILERS welcome!!!

Are we allowed to talk about the show while its happening, or de have to wait for it to air on the west coast?

:wave2:

I am the OP (and I am on the West coast) and I have always been for SPOILERS!! I generally take a poll.

WHAT IS EVERYONE'S PLEASURE AS FAR AS SPOILERS??

Lets just say it was an amazing show. There was alot of chat on Wall-E1's thread if you are looking for some spoilers from tonight.

I don't mind spoilers, as long as it is in the title. I love dishing during the show.

I liked tonights show, but was amazed they sent home 2 teams right away

I don't mind spoilers either. It is hard to wait for everyone to watch it.. and not say something. :lmao: It's hard to live in the future and see it before the west coast.

I hate when they do that , why have that many couples in the first place if they are going to crush two couples right away. :confused3

Why do I have a feeling we are going to have to endure a *surprise* visit from Felipe and Sione this season?:scared:

Very inspirational!! The jump start I needed for 20-10!!! :thumbsup2

I am personally not a big fan of spoilers, but if this is the only Biggest Loser thread I'll deal with them. I like to watch reality TV shows as they are presented to me and not knowing about the ending too far in advance.

FWIW, "chatting" during the show or talking about the show on the night of the broadcast is not a spoiler. Sharing information from certain websites that know about what has already happened real-time on in the show is a spoiler. For instance, sharing who the final 4 are well before that episode is aired is a spoiler.

So bummed I missed it. We just moved and the DVR wasn't set for stupid Central time. Oh well. Maybe I will catch it online or on a repeat.

That was one seriously uncomfortable-to-watch interview with Jillian and Jay Leno.

Thoughts...

Why didn't the green team know to drink water when you have immunity?

I predict the Blue team will be the team that returns to the ranch in a month.

The largest man was in better shape than I thought a 526 pound man would be.

One more... The contestants must be paid by the BL Show when they are on the ranch, because of the comments made by the Brown team.

I agree. I was shocked that he was that big. He *looks* a lot smaller than all the guys with the rolls of fat and moobs.

I hope that the yellow team comes back. I really liked Sunshine.

Oh, and why did they keep the "dangerous" brother John and get rid of the gimpy brother James? Stoopid!

LOL...my husband and I were just saying the same thing.

Mixed feelings about the show...thought the humiliation of the public weigh-ins to be more than a little cruel, as was sending two teams home right off the bat. I'm rooting for O'Neal and Sunshine (yellow team) to make it back on the ranch.

Seems like a good group so far. Mike and his mom (white team), the Tongan boys (gray team) and the mother/daughter green team are my early favorites. Still way too early to tell who will be the 'evil' one... *wink wink*

PS - note to remaining brown team member: please, please, please shave your neck.

Sincerely,

Me

Ok I am still watching BUT sheesh, Ali looks sooooo thin to me??? I have watched her since she was a young girl on "Days" struggling with her weight. She has come full circle. Now I think she is too thin.

Ok, back to the show. Loving the bike challenge...much better than the actual road race. :thumbsup2

"Welcome to the Biggest Loser, family fun for all" :lmao: I just love Jillian!!! :lmao:

I absolutely hated that challenge. Make two of them leave before they even step foot in the house? It was beyond cruel. And watching that poor woman screaming in pain but refusing to get off the bike because she didn't want to blow her chance. It was awful. They are going to kill somebody someday and they don't give a flying ****! I don't think I've ever been so mad at the idiots who produce this show. They go on and on about how they are saving lives, but then they pull crap like this. They keep saying how these people are at death's door and then make them bike a marathon and tell them that if they're too slow they go hom without getting the help they need? They play mind games with these people. It's unethical.

Ok, I feel better now.

Well JMHO, I really felt that the bike race was a better challenge than the road race. I am in real good shape...BUT I could never do any kind of run w/o any training at all.

I will tell you one thing...I felt getting weighed in front of all your family, friends and strangers to qualify to be on the show was TOUGH. :sad2:

I was sad they sent 2 couples home immediately. I'm rooting for Yellow to come back!

I was shocked that Brown was up for elimination. Two such big guys and only 23 pounds each? As far as elimination goes, the other teams voted with their hearts, not their heads. I was THRILLED to see how well James had done at home.

As far as favorites go... I really like Mike.... I want to like Ashley (pink) but they didn't really show too much about her..... As of last night, Mike is my fave.

I think Green might turn out to be the "bad guys" that Mom is WAY competetive and they were the only team that voted with their heads not hearts.

I can't help but to watch the show but it was so hard to watch that first challenge. I think it is crazy what they put these people through so early on and I honestly feel that all the players should be given 1 full week on the ranch before elimination.

Not sure who my favs are just yet although I kinda have to route for the pink team since they are from East TN. :thumbsup2
