Something about the previews make me think it's the black teams dad going home

I've always known that Melissa had that attitude towards her fellow contestants. Remember when they showed them the calorie counts of food and Michael was being very open and honest when he said that he could eat that all in one sitting? She made a comment to the cameras about "no wonder you weigh over 500 lbs." That set me off right there. She obviously doesn't make good choices with food/activity or she wouldn't be there. I have hated her ever since that comment.

I mean, Cheryl's torch was tilted, but Darryl has really bad knees. But who knows The previews are misleading sometimes. Ugh, I can't wait 3 weeks to find out!

DH hasn't been watching this season due to work. He watched the DVR with me Thursday night. He about fell out of his chair when he saw how excited I was that Melissa went home.

Yeah Jessi, I remember that comment very well and it was very snotty imho. She sort of took up that same lame brain attitude the other night with her "everyone else needs to be here so much more than me because they are so unhealthy". I know many women who even if they are overweight, as long as those around them are more fat, they feel quite smug. In the end, she's still 100 pounds overweight and I think she's got the big head. She's married to a blue collar guy but is herself an attorney. Maybe she thinks she's just a bit higher on the food chain of life than those around her.

In any case, although I frequently give the benefit of the doubt to these contestants (I liked Joelle for gosh sakes!) I do think she's a piece of work. Maybe I just liked her because she's from Texas like my own self! In any case, I won't miss her drama and I think it will be very interesting to see how that husband of hers fares without her. After the way Miggy changed following her dd's departure from the show, anything is possible!

I really think the previews make it look like Darryl loses. If you freeze it, you can see that they show the torch with the poles from the left side of the screen leading to it, which would mean it was Darryl's torch. Of course, they could very well be doing that to throw us off.

I agree! It gave me a good chance to teach my 10 yr old something. She was watching it with us. I explained to her how rude that was. Plus how he'd feel when he watches this. It's not only rude but very hurtful!

Yes, I got the feeling she thought herself "above" many of the other contestants. I am sooo glad she is gone. I didn't like her at all. I wonder if the problems she is dealing with concerning her career, have anything to do with her lies during the show?

Can anyone tell me what other channel the BL plays on? I have Directv and am looking to downgrade our package but want to make sure I don't get rid of the other channel that it's on.

BL is show on Tuesdays on NBC of course and is then rerun several times throughout the week on FLN - Fine Living Network - Direct TV channel #232.

Melissa was on the TODAY show this morning promoting BL. Al Roker was interviewing her and asked about the the fight with the trainers.

She still said she was not cheating and that "anyone who knows me, knows that I would say if I was playing the game" or something to that effect.

She looked pretty good weight wise.
