Just a note to let you know that the Biggest Loser 8 Fall Challenge starts on Friday, 9/11. Here is a link to the sign up thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2275974 It's a sticky at the top of the WISH boards.

This is a 14 week challenge. We have a new component in our challenge this time -- a team for maintainers. The maintainers team will strive to keep within 2 pounds of their goal weight.

If you've ever wanted to be a part of a Disboards BL challenge -- this is your chance!

Hope to see some of you joining us!

I'm excited to start this week! I've gained back 13 of the 30 I lost during the first half of the year! Kids are back to school this week and next so I can get into my workouts again!:banana:
 
So...are we all starting already, or living it up until the first weigh-in? :teeth:
 
I started three months ago "shaping up for podcast cruise 2.0". :goodvibes

I still have a long way to go, slowly, a pound or two a week.
Need all the encouragement I can get!

Today is the first day of school, which goes along with the first day of portion control and walking.

Until, um, this morning's welcome back to school coffee and pastries that I hosted. And, um, DH and I are going out for a celebratory lunch today. :rolleyes1

Tomorrow is another day! :rotfl:
 
My big challenge will be this weekend as our local Catholic school hosts an annual Sausage Festival as a fundraiser and they have all that delicious food that's so *bad* -- elephant ears, sausage, corn-on-the-cob (dripping with butter, of course!), kettle corn, and so on and so on....I need to stop, I'm getting hungry!!!
 
First weigh-in is Friday 9/11. Starting now or waiting until Friday is up to you. Remember the results are all up to you. Whether you walk, jog, lift weights, eat healthier, ... its all your effort. I found by joining helped me keep in line with what I was trying to accomplish. I'm heading out for a mai-tai!! ;)

Good to see more Podcast peeps joining.
 
Great - I'm all signed up and ready to go. Hopefully this will do the trick to get me where I need to be weight-wise.

With the DIS-apalooza in December it might be a bit tricky that weekend - but I will just hunker down and do it......... :cheer2:
