Biggest Loser 6 Black Team Week 1

Hi everyone - sorry I haven't been around much. Leaving in the morning for a road trip to WDW and the DVC Member Cruise. I promise to be back in force after that. We are taking our notebook with us so may check in from time to time. One the cruise I've promised myself to do walks in the morning and once back I've promised myself to get back on my program (ww online) in full force and get back to exercising!
 
It's like I have no will power when it comes to food! I am so STUBBORN with everything else! last night I went to Cracker Barrel and ate like I was mad at it!

But I'm up today, and headed to the gym. My foot feels good, so I should get a good workout in.

Salad, Salad, Salad!! Ya'll keep thinking about salad for me! We have an outdoor picnic at work today, I am thinking of stopping somewhere on the way and getting a salad so I won't eat the junk.

I know the feeling. I had the cookie dough attack earlier in the week and the scale won't move from the UP position!!

what is Wii step????? sounds like fun!!

Is is a game on the wii fit. It is specially designed so the sound comes from the wii mote and not the TV so you can watch whatever you want while doing it.
Sadly though I did not get it done. In fact, I only watched about 25 minutes of Bl last night. I was going form room to room and just couldn't focus on it.

Today was WW weigh-in day, and I'm up 1lb. For some reason, I go in these cyles of gaining, and then all of a sudden I'll drop 6 pounds in a 2 weeks. So we'll see this time. I have not gotten off track, in fact, I interspersed running on my treadmill this morning with walking. Hoping that will jump start things a bit.

I HATE when I gain! :confused3

Hmmmm....must be after you have everything unlocked? I haven't see it yet, but then again, I haven't played in forever since my DS19 decided to redo his room & empty it into the TV room, then classes started & there it sits.......

Oh.....senior moment... are you talking about the one where the Miis are on stage & like marching? I was thinking like step aerobics. Maybe I need more sleep.....
 
SandraVB79 - for me when I put OP, I mean On Plan...ie Weight Watchers.. On Program makes sense too!!

I fear I'm NOT going to be a loser this week. After the violent Cookie Dough attack, my scale won't budge. I am back OP, and exercising, but nothing is happening!!! Guess we'll find out tomorrow!

I think ti has to be unlocked. It is the the one in the middle on the bottom of the cardio section (I think). it is just you and a metronome and you step how you want as long as you keep time with it. I think it is called Free Step.

As for the weigh in. Don't bank on me helping the team much. I have been so busy this week, food has been grab and go. For example today at lunch I was on a hunt for wedding shoes (yes I know I am a little late on that!), so I stopped in Costco and grabbed a ff frozen yogurt and asked him to fill it half full. He filled it more like 2/3 full (and I ate it all).

I have already planned my schedule for when we get back though. My next milestone is Turkey day and I will be skinnier! :thumbsup2

I have not been around much, and not working out much either. Been down this week with a stomach virus and got a cold on top of it. UGH. Upside is, I have not been able to eat much, so probably posting a loss tomorrow. Hey, I'll take whatever I can get. :)

I am guessing you live on the east coast. Here in NM where I am it says you wrote that you were headed to the gym at 2:29 A.M. WOW!!! That is REAL DEDICATION!!!!! :cool1:
 
For the record: I live in Europe, so I didn't get up in the middle of the night to weigh myself! :rotfl2: It's 9.15 here now :)

So, I weighed myself this morning, and I'm down 1.6 kg!!! (that's about 3.5 pounds)
I'm very glad with this, but the only thing I can think about is: just imagine how much more would be gone if I hadn't eaten all that buttercream and hadn't gone to the restaurant on Sunday, and hadn't eaten that lasagna, etc etc etc.
But I'm very glad that's weight I don't have to carr around anymore.

So, I weighed myself this morning, and I'm down 1.6 kg!!! (that's about 3.5 pounds)

But I'm very glad that's weight I don't have to carr around anymore.

Well, it's my turn, I just did my weigh in --> I am down 4-1/2 lbs!!!!! :yay: Yay!!! I usually only loss about 1 lb maybe 2 if I'm lucky in a week.

Thank you everyone for participating in this challenge! It has really inspired me!!!
