Good Friday Morning. I am 1.2 up for the week. Too many salty things the last couple of days and too many carbs yesterday. But on the flip side Health is not just about weight. The pants I am wearing were tight last week and I have lost an inch or two off my waist and they feel a lot looser.

Don't forget the following from Joanne(JOANNEL) Please report your weight using the number of pounds ie xxx pounds
If you would like to add your change for the week that is OK ie I lost 2 pounds. Remember weights can be reported in 1/10 of pound increments ie xxx.x pounds.

Please report by midnight Friday
If you are late report as soon as you remember. I know sometimes RL (real life) is more important.

Please PM or email your weekly report to Joanne (JOANNEL )

Now folks, help out a weight keeper here please!! Please report your weekly weight to Joanne by PM or email to jlabbe@sterlingresorts.com . Remember to report by midnight Friday and remember to report in pounds ie xxx pounds (not just I lost x pounds). PrettyPlease!!

Don't forget that the food challenge ends this week YOu can find it at Biggest Loser 5 Week1

Have a magical losing daypixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Dropped an even 5 lbs this week, and 12.1 for the 2 weeks so far. Still have a LONG way to go though. :rolleyes1

Good luck everyone!:thumbsup2

Lost 2.4 pounds this week. YAY! :)

The bad news is....I ate my exact WW pts. all week and exercised my b*tt off.....but still gained 1lb. this week. I need to modify my diet, eat more points and protein, to offset my intense daily workouts. I will keep the faith, beacause I have exercised more and feel better than I have in a very long time.

The good new is... I took my measurements this morning and lost, this week:
waist 1/2 in
hips 1/2in
bust 1/2 in. ( hope it's back fat...can't afford to lose any up front)

So in the last 2 1/2 weeks, I have lost:
waist 2 in
hips 1 in.
bust 1in.

So for those of you who are gainers or maintainers.....take your measurements...cause you are prolly losing inches if not pounds!:thumbsup2

Congrats to all you losers this week...keep up the good work...I am soooo jealous.:cheer2:

I echo the sentiments. I have worked out a lot this week and for the most part watched what I ate and even with gaining a pound I know that I have lost some inched around my waist.

Congrats to all the losers out there.

Bad week last week. I was up .8 pounds. I had an injury so I had to cut back on exercise and had a bowling banquet the night before weigh in. I am sure the gain was due to beer and prime rib!!! But it tasted sooo good. Also did not do too much towards last weeks challenge.

My hip is better and I now need to lose another .8 pounds!! Time to get motivated.

I concentrate more on my measurements than the scale... I hate scales and my trainer at the gym, keeps telling me I have the right attitude about the scale my measurements have kept me in check.. I pull out the tape when I am feeling not so good about myself and when I see what I have accomplished I say a big WOW :cheer2:

I totally agree...if I had not seen the change in measurements....I would really be depressed right now. It's the only thing that has kept me motivated these past few weeks.....other than the all of you on the biggest loser/Dis!!!!!!!

Morning all!

I weighed in this morning and I was down from last week but still up from the start of the challenge:sad2: I know that it is because my eating has been so out of control. I vow to work on that this week!!

Congratulations to the losers this week and  to all those of us who are maintaining or gaining. Hang in there!! I think that I will try to do my measurements this week also! I haven't done them in like a year, so that could be pretty interesting :scared:

Have a great weekend everyone! Let's stay strong!! LOSE, LOSE, LOSE!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Down 3 pounds! :cool1:

I don't really know how because I was lax my workouts and walking, but I did good with eating.

I'll take it! Walked this A.M. with a friend.

Good Morning!
The baby and I did 6 miles this morning. (We went to put him on the waiting list for Mini University.)
Good news, down 2 lbs.

WHY AM I NOT LOSING?!

I did lose and inch, but it was in a place that I didn't need to lose :headache:

I've been exercising, but I guess I need to concentrate more on eating healthy.

Congrats to those lucky ones that lost :)

This challenge is on your honor system, be accurate and honest with the points you award yourself

This week is all about…

Stress
1 Take the quiz at http://www.arc.sbc.edu/stressquiz.html
discuss with group just how stressed you are (10 points)
2 Eat lunch at your desk and leave the office for lunch break this week (go for a short walk or something else to clear your mind) (5 points a day -max 25)
3 Do something that is "on your list" that you have been putting off (10 points each- max 30)
4 Spend some "me" time this week (take a bath, read a book, whatever you find relaxing)(5 points for every 20 minutes- max 25)
5 Discuss with the group some ways you deal with stress that are healthy (and not so healthy) and how you plan on altering the not so healthy ways (10 points)

This challenge is meant to motivate you...not to stress you! You may choose to complete one or two of the tasks, or all of them. Let this challenge be want you need it to be.....to CHALLENGE YOU!

The challenge will begin on Saturday 12:01 a.m. May 3 and ends on Friday May 9 at midnight. PM your total points to Raenstorim or email to ferretfeet@gmail.com by noon on Monday May 12.

Suggestion – print out the task list and keep it handy to mark off each time you complete one for easy and accurate record

Have fun!

Took the stress quiz and ended up with a 48. I thought that would be a bad thing (had a lot of 4's lol), but on others I had a lot of 2's so I guess it balanced out. :confused3 The questions that I did answer 4 to made me raise an eyebrow though, and identified some areas where I really can/need to change. :thumbsup2

Took the stress quiz - scored a 39 :thumbsup2 which means I have a good balance in my ability to handle and control stress. :cool1:

Years ago I was stressed to the max - then High Blood Pressure hit - learned quick how to take it easy - must be working

Took the stress test...and got a 39. Guess I'm more laid back than I thought. It would be interesting to have my DH take the test ( about me) and see if we see myself in the same light.:lmao:
