I just took that biggest loser test and I am totally ashamed to say that I did really really bad - I mean really bad  I'm so glad they didn't give me a grade, because it would have been a BIG HUGE F!!!

This is obviously telling me that I need to educate myself a little bit:laughing:

I failed also. Not good at this nutrition stuff.

:cheer2: Congrats everyone!!!! Great job! Keep up the good work :cheer2:

Sadly, I gained... but I blame that on female troubles :headache: Hopefully that means I'll have a big lose next week :figment:

My real age score is different today than it was yesterday because TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!

My real age is 5.9 years higher than my calender age. WHOA that is bad. Some changes to make include increasing fruit & veggie consumption, get more vitamin E, C and potassium even though I take a multi-vitamin, lose weight (that's why I'm here), exercise, and the list goes on and on. My personal favorite suggestion is get a pet. Sorry that is not going to happen. Our pets are all outside pets and I worry too much about them. Since all three kids have left home I do not need a pet to worry about.

I am reducing my real age by not smoking, taking a multi-vitamin, my LDL and total cholesterol are good but HDL is not. My favorite good thing must be a mistake. At my Dr appt in February she increased the dosage of one of my meds. I still had some of the old strength and am taking that until the bottle is gone. I said on the test that I am not taking my meds as the Dr prescribed because I have not upped the dosage yet. The test said that it was a good thing that I am not taking my meds as prescribed and that is helping to keep my real age down. Who can explain that? It must be a typo or I am not understanding exactly what they are saying.

Now I hate to exercise and I definitely have a problem fitting activity in every day. When my buddy Michelle (winniedapooh) challenged me to commit to exercise with her I did because I knew that somewhere in MA a busy mother of 5 was taking time to fit exercise into her schedule and if she could I could too. I did really well with her challenge and now I am not exercising at all. Even with this weeks challenge I have not done any besides some stairs.

My strict diet says no cake, ice cream or sweets today so I am looking for different ways to celebrate. I had breakfast on the deck this morning. Today is a glorious day, just for me of course. I am going to take myself to a movie this afternoon with no munchies. I hinted to DH that flowers would be nice and I would love it if he would replace the phone in the kitchen that got ripped out over a month ago when the new cabinets were installed.

Hope your day is special too. Next year I hope to spend my birthday at WDW. It will take me a year to talk DH into that one though.

:bday: dare2dream. It is wonderful when the day is perfect just for you!

Happy birthday Brenda, enjoy your Day!!

Hi!

I released 2 lbs this week! Sometimes I'm afraid to say "lost" because it implies I need to go searching and find it again!!

I did the BL Quiz and missed 2. I need to familiarize myself more with what foods have certain nutrients..ie vitamin C, amino acids etc... especially since I'm a vegetarian. I will eat good quality fish on occasion but most of my protein comes from eggs.

To those who found some pounds this week; they will go away again. Just keep looking forward!

Happy Birthday Brenda!!!

Oh.....I forgot one of my extra activity tricks in the last thread. I do random things like push-ups against the kitchen counter while I wait for my eggs to cook!:)

My weigh in days at Weight Watchers are on Saturday mornings. My 1st week back after several years was DOWN 2.6 pounds!!!

I was VERY surprised because I had a very stressful week at work. One day I did not even manage to eat my breakfast until 3pm!!!

This week has been much better and I am looking forward to seeing what my new loss will be.

Hi everyone...

I'm down 2 pounds!

Have a good weekend everyone...stay strong!

As of this morning.....I weigh the same as I did last Friday! I was actually pleased with my weigh-in, because I started an intense workout routine which includes toning& sculpting along with 1/2 hr. of cardio aerobic workout...every night. So by this past Monday I had acutally gained 3 lbs. I basically gained 3 lbs. and lost 3lbs this week. I'm happy because I checked my measurements this morning and after only 10 days.....
* lost 1 1/2 in. from my waist
* lost 1/2 in. from my hips
** didn't measure my bust because I don't have enough to spare!:rotfl:

Thanks to BL and all you great people who have inspired me to work harder this week than I have for years....I feel like I'm on the right track and hoping for a loss next week.

I took the BL quiz and only got 3 right. I never eat the junk food they asked about....but I learned a thing or two about better nutrition and excercise.
Goodluck to all and thanks for being my sounding board all week!

Not as good this week as I had hoped but down 1 lb (that is 8.2 since I started WW 3 weeks ago)
Congrats to those that made their weekly goals!!!!!

I did the realage survey and was 1.6 years younger than my actual age. I have several areas they suggested to improve - obvious was decrease wgt, increase regular exercise, add veggies - I did good with fruit intake - take meds and vitamins regularly (I forget at least 2x week)

I did stairs vs elevator every day at work (multiple times/day) started helping DH with horses every evening after work (I get stall duty-yuck) but it is very good exercise!!
Getting DD's bike tuned up to start riding around the block (5+ mile blocks -I live in the boonies)

If I can continue to loose 1 lb/week I will be 3 lb shy of my goal before my MOM's cruise. Guess I need to add additional activities to my daily routine.
