Good morning.

I'm feeling motivated to stick with ww for this challenge, and to keep up with the exercise. I just got the dancing with the stars exercise dvd, and though I look like a total goofball, I've done it the past two mornings, and am soaked with sweat by the end. Maybe if I keep it up, I'll even be able to follow the steps one day. It's fun too. I used to do a lot of country dancing, and some swing dancing, so a couple of the dances were easier than the others.

Spring is finally here in MA, with get out and move motivation. We can do this!! Good luck everyone!!

what's the video like? I have been trying to find something fun and easy-since I am not a dancer

So...
It turns out that I only took 1/3rd of the test...
And my RealAge is 24.5 :headache:

And my fiancee, Christopher's, RealAge is 26

Fine Tart. You win this time :sad2:

Hi Everyone

Hope you all had a great day! I did better than usual, stayed busy with chores and yardwork all day and I'm exhausted now. I guess it's not the same as going to the gym, but my body sure feels like it!

I did great with food all day then ended up going to Chick fil A with the rest of the family. :( It's funny, it wasn't like I was craving it, but I DID eat it. Mostly just because it was there I guess. HORRIBLE habit I need to break...and I need to stay away from the fast food joints.

I stocked up on WW Smart Ones meals at Kroger too...$1 and $1.40 each so they're a great deal.

You realize now that Mom is in better shape than you. :rotfl2:

That's ok Tootie. A month from now, you'll be a lean mean fightin machine. Start hitting the tennis courts baby. :thumbsup2

"Air Hugs"

Wow this group really sounds motivated. Thanks guys it really helps when the bad food is sitting in front of me!

I did well at the wedding- no cake or bread. Just ate meat & veggies. So I feel much better about this week end since week ends are my hardest.

Have a great Sunday- We are off to church & brunch....... Then hopefully pool time!!! It's supposed to be 80 today!!!

It's a beautiful Sunday morning here - lots of sunshine!!! :sunny:

Joannel - That's great about not eating the cake at the wedding :cheer2: I'm going to have a hard time with that at my DD's First Communion party next weekend.
**Have fun in the pool!!!
It's going to be another month until we open our pool up. We can hardly wait!!!:cool1:

happybratpak - What is Chick fil A? I've never heard of that.

Let's make it a good day everyone by making good food choices

Good Morning ladies, it is interesting that from reading your posts most of you are "older than than your real age" while this fat old man who loves red meat and beer is 5 yrs younger :rotfl2:
The Man

OH REALLY

I just took the RealAge Test and I am at 46.8 and I am at 52.9 right now.:yay: I guess I am doing something right.

And I am not alone. I just spent 5 minutes taking quotes ffrom a good number of women whose real age showed them to be younger than they really are. (They disappeared when I quoted this last quote)

Congrats on trying to lose weight but we are all supporting each other. Please keep to positive comments only.

Good SUnday morning everyone. HOw is everything going? I have been to church already and ds and dh just left to mow lawns. I have about 4 hours to myself. I have to get some laundry done but I have planned out dinner and the meat is defrosting as we speak.

I got a call yesterday from dsis. SHe and her family were at DW for the weekend. SOme of my neice's friends were playing in the parks. Yesterday the orchestra and the choir were playing at Epcot and today the marching band is playing in MK. My neice is not going to the local high school but she was in the band for a while in MIddle school so she still has a lot of friends at the high school. My dsis got me a signed picture from David Doss. I have several of his posters in my house (the one in my family room is a beach scene with 4 pails showing old pictures of Mickey and the gang). It was so nice of her to think of me.

This is the same sister who is giving dh and I 1 night at the AKL for our anniversary trip. This is the one night we will be there without our sons. The other night dh and I were talking about that day and he wanted me to get an extra day pass so that when we get there we can go into a park if we want to. (Dh loves to go to the parks without thinking about how many days we have left on the passes. He likes to go into the parks everyday he is in the world.) When I checked out 7 days vs 8 days it is only going to cost me an extra $6 for each of us so we are going into the parks the first day we get there.

Well off to do some things around the house.

Have a magical losing daypixiedust: pixiedust:

Good Morning Everyone

Starting my day out right. 1 cup of oatmeal for breakfast with 1/2 c of skim milk.

I'm of to Zumba at the gym in about 30 minutes.

How you doing Cassie? (I have to check up on my baby.):cutie:

Is Kip joining?

Congrats Joannel! I would have never been able to pass up cake...I would have skipped the real meal first. :rotfl:

Chick fil A is a fast food chicken place...they have great chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. Horrible for you of course but I can't stand fast food grilled chicken. I love their Polynesian sauce on my sandwich/fries but when I looked it up on WW I think it was 2 points each. I about fell over.

Good Morning everyone! I slept in a bit, it felt good but now I feel guilty. :guilty: I'm trying to get motivated now to get up and start moving. I Tivo'd the Namaste Yoga show from FitTV last night and I'm hoping to do it tonight. I've never checked that channel but there's a ton of good stuff.

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Took the real age test
I am 38.5 my real age is 38.7
I always thought I was advanced for my age.:lmao: :guilty:

Hey everyone! This is Tart Annihilator and Dyerneed's daughter.

Here are my results:

Calender age: 20.9
RealAge: 18.9 :cool1: (take that, Tart)

I honestly have no idea how I managed that... I have terrible eating habits! But i guess that all changes now

My goal is 15 pounds. Wouldn't it be nice if I made it by the big 2-1 :thumbsup2

Hi Cassie. It's Lori. Glad to "meet" you. You will get to know me much better soon since your mom and dad are coming to live in my basement.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Seriously, good luck to ya. We can do it!

My real age test results STINK! My calender age is 34 and my real age is 39.1. I need to exercise LOTS more and eat much better. I have lost approx 45 lbs already since last Nov. but obviously need to get in better shape and just not worry about the scales. This is just what I need to get a good kick in the rear!:thumbsup2

I'm checking in late! Our internet has been down for the last couple of days and we just got it reconnected.

Spent yesterday doing a bunch of spring cleaning and took the dogs on a walk! More cleaning in store for today!

Lori,
I had actually taken the test in January when I was 10lbs heavier and exercised less, and my real age was 3 years younger than my actual age. So I went and changed some info thinking it would even be better now that I was losing and exercising, UH NO it's now a whopping 2 months higher.:confused3
You are doing awesome girl!

Ok, the pressure's on...

I've done real well today. But I have to go to my dh's grandmother's birthday. :scared:

Wish my luck. (I will not eat cake, I will not eat cake, I will not eat cake) :worship:

I'll keep you posted.

Regarding Real age...

keep you heads up everyone. If we're not happy with the results, turn it in to a positive. Now we know what we need to work on. :thumbsup2

We can do it.

Congrats Lori.... You really have done well.

I just got home from a Zumba class. And I actually did my stretching before I started. Taking Real Age's advice.

It was great!! :woohoo:

In June, the instructor is going to teach a strip class and a pole dancing class. :rolleyes1 That might actually be fun. :)

Awesome! I wish the base gym did classes like that. I'm thinking about getting the strip exercise DVDs from Bockbuster online.

I'm off to do some yoga now, since RealAge told me to work on my flexibility. And yoga is low impact for my precious eyeballs.

Did the real age test and I was 51 yrs; I will be 48 in a few weeks.
I have great genetics, but lousy health habits.
Funny thing, or sad, I guess, is every single one of my family members who live very long and don't suffer from health issues, were/are all overweight. Not a skinny one in the bunch. So the good and bad of genetics, I guess.

HI All,
Well, we had to go to a black tie for my husbands work last night. We arrived late so I was safe from the apps, but the beverages were flowing. Oh well, today is a new day, if only the rain would stop.
Did my age test, and I was .2 younger than I actually am, so VERY close.
Have a good day all!
