Congrats to all the losers!!!!

I would stay the AKL with a savannah (sp?) view. We stayed there when it first opened for about $80 a night. It is so cool to go out on your balcony and see all the animals!

morning all....i've been MIA a bit myself this week, sorry, I too worked more than my usual and had a very busy week! i didn't get to get on my sparkpeople a couple days (not in a row thankfully!) but tried to keep the habits and foods the same so hopefully i'll still get results next tuesday

FYI -- on the BL sticky at the very top of the WISH board has the cliparts in various sizes......

Good Friday Morning Everyone.

How is everyone doing? I know that for me since we don't weigh in on Friday it is easy to say I have a couple more days why not take it easy. Well make this the day that you really try to control what you are eating.

I know that Wendy is changing her diet all around. I too have been looking at my diet very seriously this week. Went for a quick check with the doctor on Wed and my cholest was great but the liver enzemes were way to high so I am off Lipitor. I have another blood test in 3 weeks to check the liver and then we are going to decide our next course of action. I have been doing a lot of reading about natural cures. I am trying to eat oatmeal in the morning. I have also started garlic and with probably stop by the health food store to get some psyllium husks. I'm not sure about the red rice yeast yet but my options are open.

Have a losing day everyone. Thanks for all the great suggestions on where to stay in Disney. Have a magical day (just had to say it:lmao: )
 
Good morning everyone! Not having the best week. Twisted my ankle early in the week and haven't done a workout since then. Planning to get back to doing one tonight. Plus with all the snow and nasty weather I've just been in snacking mode way too much.

Weekends are always my hardest but I'm going to try very very hard to be good. Good luck to everyone!
 

Dona- Have you looked into Omega 3?? Do you eat salmon? Walnuts are also high in Omega 3 - so a very small handful makes a good snack.

I had my bloodword done this week as well and got a call on Wednesday. My cholesterol profile was within acceptable limits for not getting on medication but it will be in my future if I don't get it down. I'm hoping that with this big change in what I'm eating and exercising (when I get more consistent with it), omega 3 supplement I'll be able to tweek those numbers even more.

Good morning all! My goal for today....exercise! I have let myself get busy and haven't worked out for the last two days. Darn it! Not today though! I will get it done. Oh man, I just remembered that my sister's birthday party is tonight. I had better get my biking in this afternoon as the girls will be in the living room all night. Don't think a bunch of 12yos will want to watch 31yo me riding the exercise bike in the middle of their party. :rofl:

Sorry. Was trying to think in English, but the computer took over my brain. It just mean hitting the "enter" key. Think of it as putting them both in the same "paragraph". They are just two sentences with a space between them. Does that help?

Oh yeah and that sentence was supposed to say "PUT a space or two between them..." Someday I'll learn to proofread.

I have my own set of problems this weekend. My mother will be here in 4 hours! :scared1: I love my mother but geez does she stress me out. To make matters even worse, my fiancé has to work most of the weekend, so it will be just my mom and I, and my step dad (who i adore, but tends to not act as a good buffer between my mom and I, in fact he tends to just sit back and laugh at us!)

As for the best place to stay, Contemporary tower overlooking the castle or a savanna view at AK (although I have never stayed there, it is suppposed to be wonderful)

QOTD, well, for me I would choose the Grand Floridian. seems like the ultimate for me, but if I was being nice to my Honey, I would choose the Wilderness Lodge, because he would LOVE that! I wish I could stay at any of the Deluxes. That would be fantastic.


I have been "on a break" for a while, but I don't feel out of control if that makes sense. I have made my 30 day resolve of no McDonalds and No chips!!!!!:woohoo: :banana: :woohoo: :banana: It does feel good. Since I made the resolve, I have had culvers to get the craving out, and oddly enough, even though I could have culvers today, I don't want it! So I know I am making strides toward a healthier lifestyle. And I had some chips yesterday and today. BUT I am gearing up for another 30 days of my own resolutions.

Staring on Monday
1. No McDonalds
2. No chips
3. Stay under the max on the calorie range
4. log onto sparkpeople and log all foods
5. Exercise M-F. (unless I am ill)


Basicly it is the same resolve of no chips and McDonalds, but adding on calorie limits and exercise.
 
QOTD - I would like to stay at AKL. We always like to eat at Boma. And I would like to hear the story tellers that they have and see all the animals with the night vision glasses.
 
ok so i have caught a bug again... only this time it's the stomach bug. I feel sick all the time. haven't been to the gym in 2 days... but also haven't been able to eat anything! i have to turn in the first chapter of my Masters Project tomorrow and i can't stay awake to finish it.... i think there might be a problem there. ok well back to writing!!

* i will be posting the list of DW vactions for us loosers tomorrow so if you haven't sent me your dates do so ASAP :)
 
where is every one??? I hope we are all making good choices today, I did ok, ordered a salad at Longhorns.....then ate some onion:guilty: . I did get to the gym and sat out in the sun for a while..... Hoping to get in a bike ride tomorrow- should be nice out again.

QOTD: POR is very nice and relaxing. The grounds are beautiful and the resort is very quiet and peaceful. The boat to DTD is nice too!
 
One romantic night alone? Hahahahahhahaha, that hasn't happened in 14 years. I'd choose the Poly too, though, if only so I could watch Wishes from the beach.

It's TOM this week for me and my goal for this week is to not use that as an excuse to overeat. I am hungrier (and crankier and bloatier) but I can't let it defeat me. My other goal is to get off of my butt and exercise. I walk, a little, but that's about it and that's not enough.
