Biggest Loser 4 Week 15

I have FitTV and I have looked at the Gilad workouts. I am working on strength training/sculting so I might have to tape a few of these to use. Do you have any favorite cardio from Fit TV?
 
OMG - are you guys watching tonights episode of Biggest Loser?? I have sat here and just cried it is so awesome....but that's all I'm saying for now :rotfl:

It was just crazy!! I sat dumbfounded through the whole weigh-in, I think.
 
Hey All!

I am happy to report my first loss since I graduated college (and lost 20 that seem to be pretty loyal and have returned since). I am down .6 this week, but it's the first time I've ever seen the scale go down. Granted this is still up from where I started this challenge, but still...

I wish I had TV to watch BL, but I don't. I'm sure it's getting good now that they're wrapping up.

Do we have a wrap up plan? How can I help us make one?

Thanks for the support you all offer. I love the challenges, but I've not been very good at keeping up with them as I am tracking so many other things lately.

Anywhooo... It's bedtime. I stayed up late last night watching the NCAA tourney.

Did you all decide you are not continuing to Memorial Day? Some are talking about the end on this thread. :confused3 So now I have a confused head. :lmao:

Anyway, I sound pretty funny to say I decided to stop next week if the group isn't continuing anyway. I'm so confused. Smiling though. :rotfl: I'm sure I'm just confused all around. Got something wrong. And just need sleep.

Watching the BL right now on a late feed - Seattle. Anxious to see what you are all talking about with the weigh in. And the emotions of the show. They are starting to back track each contestant right now. Whoa, Roger's on. That's incredible. Oh shoot should I be whiting out? Not too much info. Half an hour until weigh in to see what's up. Hope I can stay awake.

It's exciting to see April 15th so close. I'm so proud of all of us. It's gone so fast. I'm scared but feel confident. If there is something I learned through all of this is that life and time goes on anyway. And quickly. So the weight isn't as far as I perceived.

Can someone explain to me the week where the voted off contestants got a chance to come back on. How did it work? How did they decide who came back on? Weight loss off the show?

I was running around the MK that night. Lucky me.

The week the brought back Ali & Mark, was purely a numbers game. The female & male with the highest % got to come back. The one with the highest total % (mark) got to choose which trainer they wanted. Obviously Mark wanted back with Bob, since he had only left a week before. Ali, got to be with Jillian and then chose to keep being Pink as a tribute to her mom.
 
Are we continuing until Memorial day? I saw posts about it but didn't see anything official. Maybe if we do I might have a chance to lose something this go round. It is pretty bad to go from Blue Team biggest loser to the can't seem to lose anything. I have really really been struggling. I am just SOOO hungry lately. I am getting my workouts in but they just don't seem to be as potent as they once were.

Good morning I remembered to weigh in this morning and I wish I hadn't I am up to almost where I started this week. I thought that there would be a loss. I feel like I have lost stuff so maybe a I am retaining water (No it is not TOM because it hasn't been that TOM for 3 years now)

I watched BL last night and all I could say is WOW. I wish I had 15 weeks with a personal trainer and alll the time in the world to exercise and I would hope I would look as good as those people.

It made me a little mad at myself because I have not been making good choices for the last couple of weeks. I don't know why I do this to myself. I was at a really good weight a couple of weeks ago and since then I have done everything possible to ruin it. Why do we all do this to ourselves. Maybe some soul searching is in order.

Congrats to all the losers this week.

Oh by the way. I am not voting for the biggest loser because I would vote off Roger and ds2 (who watches with me when he gets home from jazz band on Tues) would vote off Mark so our votes would cancel each other out.

i'm behind and haven't had time to read and catch up.....

but just wanted to announce: since this is our last week i thought i'd post a 'weekend' challenge since we don't have a full week. FYI

this exercise challenge helped me work a little harder this week!
 
I did vote. I voted for Mark to stay and then DH turned around and voted for Roger to stay. So we cancelled each other out. If you watched it last night my next little bit will be whited out - if you didn't just be aware not to accidentally highlight it and read it

I CANNOT believe the losses last night - on the last week. And the girls kicked some major butt. I really want a lady Biggest Loser this time....and it isn't about women vs. men....it's about proving that women can be as successful as men at weight loss. I know it's easier for men to lose....but seeing how well Ali & Kelly have done just proves that us ladies can do it...it might take us working a lilttl harder but it can be done.
Okay....so are we going to Memorial Day or stopping??

There are a group of us who want to stop next week and there is a group who want to go to Memorial Day.

I myself is staying until Memorial Day but we may have a change in a couple of the other captains.
 
I'm all for extending it to Memorial Day if we can. It helps me to stay on track knowing that I have to be accountable to the scale once a week.

Of course when I just read it again I was like DOH - I just said who was up for elimination so why did I bother whiting out any of it....I'm sorry if I spoiled it for anyone.
