so stupid - this "marathon" gimicky - what? its for a PRODUCT PLACEMENT!

it just makes me so angry - its like they are belittling the marathon - its not about the training - I think these BL contestants HAVE trained - they DO work out - they do walk, run, etc... I KNOW its different to train for a Half, or a FULL marathon -

but let me tell you this, when you run in a RACE - you have so much support, its amazing... for BL to belittle that fact - makes me angry!

please, check out Couch to 5K (or C25K *G) check out online support - the "purple team" the TEAM IN TRAINING that have a HUGE support group all across this amazing country! I'm telling IT makes a DIFFERENCE!!

I just think its wrong to air this show in this way... imho!

They are doing this with the support, and edit of TV - but what about us at home viewers? SO WRONG!

You know its about that one guy that did a marathon - but they (BL editited because he was going too slow - it was a huge fiasco! so now this? WRONG!)

He hurt his hip in training - went to the ER

not that big of deal - but you need support - he wasnt running with a plan - just running as hard and as fast as he could!
eta - not that big of deal as in - he doesnt need surgery, he didnt fracture it - its a BIG deal if it happens to you!!

just sad. that he got hurt instead of training correctly

so wrong is too many ways - all for show,

they need better contracts!

Yes 5 hours, 6 hours - its a long time to do the same thing - but it has to be easier with tv around - and it is so much helpful to have that people that a "race" has around you!

whoooooaaaa slow down and take a deep breathe You can't expect them to show the whole route and the breaks they take. Home viewers have brains and know they can't show you all 13 hours of this "marathon" Obvvously they had support and they showed enough of that aspect when Ron stopped to get checked out.

And exactly what product placement did they have for the marathon portion of the show? I guess I missed it.

Have you read their contracts? I don't think we can judge what we haven't seen. As for it being easier with TV around, I don't see how it's easier. I guess your statement confuses me as you think it's easier with tv around but yet you say it would have been helpful to have some sort of race people around. Sorry I'm totally lost reading your posts.

I would like to see Mike & Ron in the bottom two...Ron begs America to keep his son in the finals....America votes for Ron instead, which puts his son out of the chance to win.

Yay! Just what some of us predicted and was hoping for!
I hope America votes for Ron to stay, to push Mike out of winning! I just loved how their little smirks got wiped off their faces tonight!
Can't wait till next week!

I'm voting for Mike. I only voted for Ed last year because I can't stand Heba and the thought of her in the final three was nauseating. I don't like Ron that much, although he did redeem himself with how he helped Max. I voted for Mike because I like Mike and he truly deserves to be there. He has worked so hard and taking that way from him to spite his father seems cruel.

Do you remember how he gave his prize to Mandy after that one challenge? The kid truly has a good heart.
