I was flipping through a magazine while waiting for my haircut and there was a little blurb about Tara (don't worry - no spoilers). It had a picture of Tara from 2004 in a bikini during a modeling competition. Wow! I can not believe she went from a totally normal size to HUGE in less than 4 years. She said she was depressed about modeling and the fact that she was never skinny enough to satisfy anyone so she turned to ice cream. I seriously can't imagine how much ice cream that girl had to consume to go from an ideal weight to obese in such a short amount of time. The thing that annoyed me is that she said when this is all over she might go back to modeling. I'm thinking that isn't the best option for her self esteem.

I know! I thought the same thing and almost bolded that statement when I posted the whole synopsis, but I wanted to see if anyone else would pick up on it like I did! It'll be interesting to see what Bob has to say about it.

Refresh my memory - what happens from here on in? The vote one person off tonight, right - that makes 4 left. But only 3 can compete for the final prize... so does one find out on the live finale that they are out of the running? I watched last year, but can't remember how they did it...

They will vote one off. They will all go home and will not find out who gets that third spot until the finale. We get to vote who we want in the finale three.

At least that is what happened last year.

The ones with the most percentage will still be one and two we get to vote for one of the two with the lowest percentages. That person will take the third spot, doesn't matter about the percentage lost. One of them will compete for the $250,000 the other one will compete for the $100,00 home prize but they will not know which prize they are going for until the finale when they tell them out the public voted.

The finale is next Tuesday...so these people have been home for a while. I think Kristen has been home since Feb.

I'm in Colorado so I'm just about halfway through the episode but I am really hoping they call Ron on the carpet about this. Bob clearly knows, he gave Ron a chance to come clean but of course he didn't.

I was so pulling for Mike, but now I am all about Tara and Filippe. Anybody but Ron or Mike. Even Helen would be my pick and she bugs me to death.

I think Helen and Ron will still be at the bottom and we will be voting for one of them. This is a new twist this year that they go home for a month and come back.

I wasn't surprised Ron lied to Bob. He is playing a game to get him and his son to the finale.

Felt bad for Filipe because he did work so hard but was never a fan of his either.

I can't believe how much weight they all lost! Wow!

I don't hate Ron or Mike. I want Mike to win-if Tara doesn't. The only thing I didn't like about Ron was when he would announce who was going home next when they were on teams. But I'm not bitter at him with the Kristen thing. I mean, I would do that and then some to get my child farther in the game and closer to winning that $.

When they weighed Tara last I was worried that she would fall because everyone lost so much.

I was happy for Helen for losing so much.

So we might get to vote off Ron next week? Maybe.


We know Tara and Mike won't hit that line. It will be between Helen and Ron.

Well that is my guess anyway.

Mike and Ron were below the yellow line in weeks 4 & 5. Ron blubbered about "My son really needs to stay here" both times. They beat the Orange Team in week 4 by two votes. People seemed to think that Daniel deserved as much of a chance as Mike did but Ron "the king maker" had the advantage of being able to play the game the whole time and not be sent home. They beat Silver Team in a landslide because everyone hated Joelle.

To each his own I guess but I think Ron is the smartest guy on the ranch. Not saying I like him or want him to win because I don't. But, it is a game and Ron played the game.

Absolutely nobody had to listen to him yet they did! What a bunch of idiots. They made Ron into "the Godfather." Stand up to the bully and the bully backs down. Don't stand up to him and he takes over.

They had multiple opportunities to break up the brown team. How many times was Ron below the yellow line? 7 or 8? If they didn't know that Ron would do anything to protect his son, they were idiots. Unlike Helen, who didn't have any problem selling her daughter up the river, Ron would sell anyone, including himself, for his son to win. He made that clear from day one and he stuck to it.

Why?? Last season everyone was mean, nasty and manipulative. This season everyone has been for the most part very nice. Sending people home is part of the show/game. You can't blame Mikey nor Ron for people falling below the yellow line. All along Ron has flat out said he'd do whatever he could to keep Mikey in the game until the end. How about you put the blame where it belongs....on Kristin for not only falling below the yellow line 2 weeks in a row but for actually gaining weight.

Ron didn't vote for Kristin. He kept his promise to her mom. Mikey make no promises and had the right to vote for the person that was the bigger threat to him. Kristin was obviously the bigger threat as she had quite a bit more weight to still lose. You can't blame Mikey for voiting for her....blame Kristin for GAINING weight therefore, falling below the yellow line for the second week in a row!! Now Ron did suggest to Mikey that Kristin was his biggest threat and he did say he was ok with Mikey voting for Kristin but again Ron stated facts and kept his promises; the promise to do what he could to keep his son in the game and the promise to Kristin's mom to never vote for her.
