I love Tara. Yes, she is in it for her, but who isn't? She works harder than just about any other contestant I have seen, and she has certainly had to put up with her fair share of crap from the other contestants. Now that Helen is with Jillian, she is starting to grow on me too. I used to like Ron, now I absolutely cannot stand him. I also lost all respect for Filipe and Sione with their bullying of Tara and their fit over training with Jillian.

Kristen also rubs me the wrong way. She has a witch streak in her a mile wide. That episode where they added their weight to another member really pushed it over the edge for me with her. I was praying that she would be the one to go home because she is just such a class A jerk. Sure, Laura cannot train like the others, but there are still things she can do an she can still lose weight. It might even have been better to have her in that setting where they can help her more than at home where she has no support. Thankfully she looked wonderful.

I do hope that Kristen or Ron goes home next. At this point I'm rooting for Tara and Mike. Mike is just such a good person. You can see that his heart is breaking for Max (Ron does not seem concerned on the other hand, I pray that is because of the editing). I agree that Max needs to be on this show. He seemed so depressed. I'm scared we're going to read about Max's suicide one day if he doesn't get some help soon. Again, hopefully some of that was in the editing and it's not as bad as they made it look.

Yes, Tara works hard, but not sure I'd say she works THAT much harder than anyone else. Remember, she started out in the lowest 1/3 of BMI. Kristen, on the other hand, had the 2nd highest BMI!! I'd say that makes the challenges and workouts much harder to do.Now that Helen is with Jillian, she is starting to grow on me too. I used to like Ron, now I absolutely cannot stand him. I agree about Ron, but I still can't get over Helen wanting her daughter to go home.I also lost all respect for Filipe and Sione with their bullying of Tara and their fit over training with Jillian. I agree about the Bob-obsession. I agree that everyone is in it for themselves. As far as distributing the weight in that challenge - Tara was the threat, and that's who they gave the weight to. I do think they acted goofy about it, though. Wasn't it Helen who added the time to Tara's marathon time? I think that was more than a little mean, seeing that Helen had no chance of winning it anyway.

I thought it was very mean, the way that Tara talked about Laura at the beginning. Saying that she wasn't trying hard enough, etc. Gee, maybe Laura had a STRESS FRACTURE back then. Maybe she complained about the pain and Tara told her to suck it up.

I don't think Max is ready to lose the weight yet. I know he is miserable (and my heart breaks for him ), but I don't see the FIRE that he'll need to succeed. If I was his Mom, he'd be in counseling to deal with his feelings; then hopefully, his determination would kick in. Let's face it, with or without BL, Max has quite a mountain to climb.

Max is only 16, so he can;t yet. He has to be 18.
though I know in some of the mini shows where they would have families comf for like a week and then go back home to lose the weight, some were that young or younger. I think 1 was 14.

Max is now 17 - he said it on the other night's show. I think he had recently turned 17 when that episode was filmed - which probably was sometime in Feb. Probably still won't give him enough time between now and the next show to turn 18. To me it seemed that Mike cared more for Max's feeling then his mom or dad did. I am hoping Mike will be able to help his brother and get him down to a resonable size. It should be interesting to hear what Mike has to say to his dad about his weight problem all these years.

I put a lot of the blame on BL. When Ron ended up injuring his knees and they knew that it would not be a quick recovery, BL should have booted him from the show. They could have even brought back one of the other contestants since this happened early in the season.

When Laura was injured, there should never have even been a vote involved in her case. Her injury was severe. Continuing on with intense training would result in surgery. BL should have immediately said they were sending her home and paying for PT and been done with it. I know she doesn't seem to have much support at home but staying at the ranch with that type of injury could have caused even more damage.

I know they want the drama and the ratings but I think they dropped the ball by not immediately showing their support of Laura by getting her the help she needed. I almost have to wonder if they staged the vote for the drama but the intent was to send her home all along. Why didn't they tell the group BEFORE they voted that if Laura was sent home, she would receive all the help necessary to recover from her injury?

he came with bad knees, bad shoulder and a couple of other things wrong.

He should have been sent home the week he had to go to the hospital for unknown bleeding.

On your first and third paragraph, you took the words right out of my mouth. I am so rooting for Tara. She is one tough girl and I think she deserves to win. How many times has she came back in the challenges to defeat the guys? Especially the one when they had to drag the cars.

As for your middle paragraph, I actually like Kristen. I think she makes for good entertainment. But, like you, I am rooting for Tara or Mike to win (hopefully Tara).

I agree with you, but I can understand Tara being scared to lose her partner on the ranch. She has had the support of her best friend for almost 3 months. It is a hard thing to be alone now. I know I would be the same way.

I totally forgot it was on tonight. Just got on in time to see Kristen eliminated! Thank God that witch is finally gone. NOw she needs to take it like an adult and quit berating Mike. She just makes me hate her all the more. Now I'm wondering what I missed. I hate that you can't get the video on their website until the following Tuesday.
