Biggest Loser 11 Spring Team Challenge--for Losers and Maintainers

Good morning teammates,
Vacation is officially over and I had my "last meal" last night, including my favorite, pecan pie. Boy does that sit heavy on the gullet this morning.

Anyway, P90X round two also starts this afternoon and I am looking forward to seeing the results after another three months.

Good to back in full swing and ready to keep up with y'all again.

Dave

Good morning everyone. Sorry I have been so absent lately...I have just been really lazy :confused3. And I'm not just talking about being lazy on the DIS...I have slacked off a lot in the last 2 weeks  I've been missing the gym and eating poorly, and I know that I have gained a couple of pounds so I am ready to get back on track.

This weekend I had my first Ultimate Frisbee game of the spring season. The weather was actually really nice and I didn't feel as rusty as I feared :thumbsup2 However, I am feeling pretty sore today...my legs, my abs, my back are all a little achy. I guess its good to know that I really am getting an all-over workout when I play!

Hey, everyone!
Crazy day today. Just wanted to post the QOTD:
QOTD for Monday, April 11: What can you carry in your car that will help you stay on track? ;)

I almost always carry my gym bag so I can go at any time. I also usually carry my racketball racket and in the summer, I usually have cleats and a frisbee so I can get out an play ultimate or at least do some running and throwing if I have the chance.

Wishing you all a wonderful Monday!

Hi everyone. Back after a week away from the boards...

Congrats Poochie and Tigger813 on jumping down sizes!! :dance3: You should both be really proud of yourselves! There's nothing like seeing your hard work pay off away from the scale! :thumbsup2

Also, congrats Disneywedding2010 on finishing your Bachelors degree! :cool1: A lot of hard work went into that and I hope you do something to celebrate your achievement! I know there are a lot of decisions in your future, but I'm sure you'll end up just where you belong!

Donac, I'm sorry you're still dealing with the former director at the high school! It really is sad when grown ups act like little children! Thanks for all you do for the kids, though! I know how much my kids, their friends, and all the parents appreciate all the time and effort that our production team puts into their shows! I hope you are able to put this behind you soon... I wish the former director would finally decide to make a clean break and move on!

The last week has been pretty crazy around here, which is part of the reason I've been MIA all week (I know I don't post as much as I should, but I'm a die-hard lurker, and I didn't even get the chance to do that!).

It started last weekend, when I messed up my shoulder shoveling dirt and mulch in the back yard! After waiting several days to see if it would start to feel better, I decided I had to break down and go in to the doctor. The good news is that it isn't a major tear, but rather a sprain. I'm taking mega ibuprofen and he gave me a muscle relaxer to take at night. If I still have pain mid week, I'm to call back and he'll probably order PT. ugh! Bad news is that my blood pressure was up a bit and I'm gonna have to watch it to see if I need to go back on meds (I was on them for a while, but he took me off when my bp returned to the normal range with my previous weight loss). We're hoping that the increase is due to the shoulder injury and the ibuprofen I'd been taking for days because of it. Time will tell.

Worse than my shoulder is that my good friend's husband underwent open heart surgery to replace his aortic valve. He is only in his early 50's, but was born with a defect to his valve. He's always known he would eventually need surgery, but he'd hoped to make it to his 60's or 70's before it would be necessary. Well, obviously things didn't work out that way and he had is surgery last Thursday. Everything went very well and except for a lot of pain, he's recovering well. I'm sure that his being in great physical shape helped him through everything, and he serves as another example to me why I need to get myself into a better place physically!

The week did have a high point though, when my niece and her husband welcomed their first child into the world! After 26 hours of labor  my great- nephew, Holden Robert, was born. Of course, he is perfect and beautiful! Everyone is healthy and went home on Saturday!

Needless to say it's been a week filled with prayer, both for intercessions and thanksgiving! Shocking that I didn't manage to lose any weight last week, right?! (stress does me in!) I am, however, grateful that I didn't gain either!

Sounds like spring is finally springing for many of us! Let's all use the sunshine and warmer temps to motivate us to get back (or stay) OP!

HI all,

Back from errands with Brian. We were bad and had breakfast at McDonald's so it will be a shake lunch today. I think I need a cup of tea and fast! Getting a headache.

Got Brian a pair of Dockers at Costco and some cheese sticks for the kids. I got my wraps so I am happy that I can make wraps and paninis with them again. Izzie will be home in an hour! It's a very overcast day here which is making me want to take a nap. I have laundry to fold and should try and get some work done around here!

TTFN :tigger:

Happy Monday BL friends:goodvibes I'm having a great day so far. Did 45 minutes on the elliptical while watching "Ruby" episode from last night - anyone else watch that show?- then met some friends downtown for a coffee. Well, I had tea. Never been to Cafe Schlossblick before but OMG it was on the 2nd floor and had fantastic views of downtown. The name literally means Cafe Castleview - we have an "old" castle and a "new" castle downtown as well as Rathaus and several churches and parks, it is so lovely at this time of year. The new castle is from the 1600's and not sure how old the old castle is:laughing:

I looked around the stores a little afterwards because all of my capris are too loose this year. Can't find anything affordable or in my size. I swear an "XL" here is like a size 12 in the US!:scared1:

Hope you are all having a great day

Amy, it's prosecco (sparkling Italian wine or champagne) with pineapple juice and a bit of juice from the marichino cherry bottle over ice.

mmmmmm, sounds good! I'm a big champagne and proseco fan. The German equivalent-sekt, not so much...

Sorry if I was a bit misleading. Haven't hit goal yet.....but currently just 3.5 pounds away!!!!!! I've actually been within 2.5 pounds of the goal weight three different times in the past year....but every time was right before a big holiday or vacation and I never quite made it..... YET! I'm feeling like this time might be it!!

oops......sorry to assume! You are SOOOOO close:goodvibes

My biggest motivators are my granddaughters, who are 11 and 12-1/2, the love of my life . We take them to Disney :mickeyjumevery other year and have to be able to keep up with them ;);). No slacking on the job Grandma & Grandpa.

awwww...how sweet:love:

OMG they fit, in fact maybe a little loose but I figured that they are cotton and they may shrink. I was so excited I was doing a happy dance in front of the mirror. People must of thought that I lost my mind. :woohoo: I had to tell them that I lost 48 pounds and this was a big deal for me.

:banana::banana::banana:

I love your name poochie!! Back when I was in college I was average size except for a little belly from drinking so much beer.....I always called my little beer belly poochie! Of course at the time I thought it was HUGE!

I just finished my Bachelors degree on Saturday.

I forgot to say CONGRATS the first time you posted this!!! Good luck with all your decisions.

As for me, I've had a horrendous weekend, foodwise. I have journaled every bite of this ridiculous experience but that didn't keep me from eating it.

We leave for Barcelona in less than 11 weeks.

my new handbag

13 pounds to go.

Yikes!!! I had the same thing this weekend! I'm up slightly over 3 pounds and ready to turn it around this week.

Please - need details of new purse!!!

You CAN get rid of those 13 pounds!!! Just think how much better you will feel after the long days of touring in the hot sun with 13 more pounds off your body. You'll wake up with a spring in your step and be dancing still at midnight with your lighter body:goodvibes I'm rooting for you!

good morning everyone. i was SO bad with the eating yesterday and it's repeating on me big time today. i ate so much crap for absolutely no reason. i guess i was just stressed out and decided to nosh instead of just exercise or drink more water. and now i have the WORST headache and my son insists on climbing on me as i write this. oh well. my own fault. back to lots of water and healthy eating today.

i need to eat well this week because on friday i'm flying down to NC to visit my BFF who had a baby 6 weeks ago. i can't wait! the only problem is visiting NC always means cookout milkshakes, bojangles chicken, etc etc! so, need to really do good this week.

anyway, i hope everyone had a great weekend. i need to go back and catch up!

ya, me too:confused: I went to bed at 8:30 last night I was so exhausted from eating so much sugar. We have too many treats around from DS birthday. Should not have bought them in the first place. No one in this house needs them anyway.

I am from NC.......mmmmmm, Cook-Out and mmmmmmm, Bojangles!
Which milkshake is your fav? Many many people from NY and NJ are now living in NC.

Hey, everyone!
Crazy day today. Just wanted to post the QOTD:
QOTD for Monday, April 11: What can you carry in your car that will help you stay on track? ;)

Shoes and workout clothes. Healthy snacks and meals. Jump rope. Scale if needed.

My son. I want to be a healthy mom, and with all I saw my mom go through in the last years of her life medically, I know it would have been easier on her if she had been more active, and healthier, and I don't want Michael to feel the frustration when someone you love does not seem to be helping themself. I want to be a good example for him, and maybe he will grow up with a healthy lifestyle that will just be a part of him, and he won't ever need to find the focus to get moving again, or the need to lose weight.

Not cheap, frugal. And Hollister is ridiculously overpriced. So glad you got a good deal. I bet you and dd will look like sisters on your vacation.

They're doing a reunion piece on Welcome Back Kotter on good morning america. That was such a funny show.

What a great answer Kathy. I often think about getting healthier for my son too and think about how unhealthy my Dad is. He has incredibly good genes and is in good health but poor eating and exercize habits. I want to be a good example for my son. Even at his age, I see he mimics a lot of our behaviors.

Just wait until Michael HAS to have a Hollister t-shirt:rotfl:

I remember that show, it was good and I loved John Travolta's character!

Big ugly hearing today, busy Monday, this is probably the only time that I will be on here today. I did journal all week-end. It could have been better, it could have been worse. I'm forgiving, forgetting and moving on!

Sounds like many of us were in the same boat this weekend! Now I hope we made it to shore and we can all jump out!!!!!!!! Good luck with your hearing.

Cool!

Taryn stopped posting a month or two ago but I did talk to her by PM and she said she was doing ok just very very busy and needed to take a break. That was in the middle of Feb. I miss her I hope she comes back to us.

Thanks Lindsay! Glad to hear she's doing well. I think of her often. We use her PC products almost daily and they were some good picks! Her posts were always so motivating to me!

including my favorite, pecan pie.

Anyway, P90X round two also starts this afternoon Dave

mmmmmmm, sounds good! Pecans are hard to find here in Germany. I bought a kilo at Whole Foods in London last week and have been snacking on them. Wow, P90X, very impressive! Keep up the good/hard work!!

really lazy And I'm not just talking about being lazy on the DIS...I have slacked off a lot in the last 2 weeks  I've been missing the gym and eating poorly, and I know that I have gained a couple of pounds so I am ready to get back on track.beth

I think it's wonderful that you recognized this and stopped it before it got any worse. That takes a lot!!!! For myself, just constant monitoring is key.

WOW, that's a lot to go through in one week! Hope your shoulder and your friend are soon on the mend and congrats on the new great nephew!

I've done pretty well with eating today - late breakfast of scarmbled eggs at the cafe, afternoon snack of pecans (perhaps a few too many!) and supper tonight is chicken with potatoes and green beans, a family favorite. I need to get in more water though and PM my weight to Tracey. It's not pretty but I can only go down from here !

Shawnprincess:

I You need to know I was wearing Size 2X when I started last August. Well I went to NY and Company. I found these real cute slacks in a green kahki. I tried on size 18 thinking at last I wear regular size clothing. Well they pretty much were falling off, :) I then went out and got size 16 and tried those on. Wow they were also too big. :goodvibes. At this point I called over a sales girl and asked to see a size 14 truly not believing they would fit. So you know these were not stretch pants, but cotton slacks which have no give to them. With my heart beating I tried them on, I then zipped them and fastened the button OMG they fit, in fact maybe a little loose but I figured that they are cotton and they may shrink. I was so excited I was doing a happy dance in front of the mirror. People must of thought that I lost my mind. :woohoo: I had to tell them that I lost 48 pounds and this was a big deal for me.

I just had to share this victory with everyone.

WOW!! You must have been super excited!!! It IS a BIG DEAL!!! Glad you shared it with us!

I just finished my Bachelors degree on Saturday. Now, comes the time in my life like when Josh and Maddie died. Now I'm back to the "Okay, now what do I do?" I've had the ideas of going on vacation, applying for jobs, starting grad school, or just lounging. I know I don't have a time line that I have to do any of this in but it would be nice to do something. Now with Maddie and Josh gone I've realized that I can't just sit aroundand do nothing or I go out of my mind with boredom.

Alan and I were talking last fall about the Disney College Program. I had talked about starting grad school and then applying for the program. I would of spent 6 months in Orlando and working for Disney. However, after thinking about 2 more years of college I put the idea to rest.

We got back onto the subject of moving to Florida again a few days ago. I realized that I don't have anything left in Texas for me. My mom moved to IL, I don't talk with any of my dad's family, Josh and Maddie are gone, and I only have one true friend here. I need a change of scenery. I need something different.

I started looking at houses around Kissimmee Florida last night. I started looking into doctors that take Tricare today. We're going to wait a year and see how the auto shop goes and if it doesn't work out then I'll seriously start looking. I'd have a better chance of using my hospitality management degree in Orlando then I would here. Yeah, there are hotels and such but Orlando is like the tourist capital of the world. I know its going to be a huge task of putting the house on the market, finding a house, packing up a house, and getting everything moved. However, I've done it before so I know its doable.

I'm just ready for something different and I can't find it here.

I know how you are feeling. It is a turning point..... things are changing. It is natural to be looking toward some possible big changes. But glad you are giving it a year. No need to regret a snap decision. But it certainly won't hurt to keep your options open this year.

Pam you are so sweet. I have to say that this weight gain has been different for me. I have gained much more in my hips and butt which has never happened before. I'm sure having a desk job had a part in that as well as my age. It really is harder to keep weight off and to relose it as we get older. I'm feeling much more motivated and we are even talking about doing Atkins again short term to get things moving. Your SB success is part of the inspiration behind that. I do need to get the book again though as I think I got rid of the first one.

And...You're not cheap, your thrifty:goodvibes

I agree about the age changing things! When I was in my 20's and 30's, I could just count my points/calories and the weight would come off.... no exercise required! But now.... not so much!

Take a look at South Beach. I think it is a more user-friendly low carb diet. DH did Atkins for several years back in 2003-05 and while all of the fatty cheeses and meats are nice (mmmmm. bacon!) the lack of dairy and such was tough. While I can't really say I've been "enjoying" this time on SB, it isn't unbearable and still feels healthy. I just miss my fruit!!

We had a good day here :goodvibes I've gotten all of the lacrosse stuff done that I can possibly have done at this point. I got outside for several hours and completely cleaned the inside of my car. It really needed it after a winter full of kids and sand and dirt... The kids are all set for their afterschool activities tomorrow. All's good in our world today.

Isn't that a great feeling!? I spent a few minutes at the car wash last week.... just a quicky vacuuming and shaking the mats out, but I felt so much better. Glad all is good in your world.... at least for a day!:rotfl: Have a great week at work.

Pamela - LOVED hearing about your successful shopping trip and hope you'll post pix of you and DD in your matcing shirts. They sound pretty!

I will definitely post pictures when I get home.

Glad you got rid of the sneakers. I'm sure they will be perfect for someone else but we don't want you risking further injury. Glad DD is going to join you in your new way of eating. It is great to have company. And speaking of which, I feel like we are having tea together virtually. I've been on a hot lemon tea kick. :goodvibes

Loving my hot green decaf tea lately! Also found a few other teas I like, but I have to be careful of the caffeine.

Okay, enough of my pity party. Have a great remainder of the night, my friends! Stay away from the fridge and cupboards. Pretend the kitchen has a huge "CLOSED" sign on it. :) Hugs, all!

Yup..... wish my kitchen had a door with a lock sometimes!!!

I have journaled all my food since Friday. Yesterday wasn't as good as it could have been but not as bad as it could have been considering. We did go out for dinner on Saturday night. I had manhattan clam chowder and then a bowl of mussels in marinara sauce. I did have some fries from dh's plate but for the most part it was pretty good. Besides the mussels were wonderful.
Have a happy and healthy day.

Good sounds delicious and healthy! And glad you were able to keep up with the journaling.

Good Morning. Up earlier today as I'm morning carpool Mom today and tomorrow. I'll run a few errands before work too. Today is a long day as I'm working both jobs. Hopefully it won't be too bad, but I must admit that I'm dreading it, mostly that I won't get to bed until late then up early again tomorrow.

I have packed my lunch and since I refuse to spend money on take out that means that I will only eat what I bring. Hopefully that will help me reel in my eating habits again.

Lots of rain on the forecast for today, but at least it's warmer out.

Yup.... rainy here today too. Kind of makes me sad since I was really looking forward to a nice sunny warm day!
I think I mentioned the other day that I journal my food in the morning as I pack up for the day. It keeps me on track most work days! And working out in nowhere land keeps me from wanting to run out for lunch!!

Hey, everyone!
Crazy day today. Just wanted to post the QOTD:
QOTD for Monday, April 11: What can you carry in your car that will help you stay on track? ;)

I keep a small plastic drawer unit in the trunk of my car with water bottles, canned seltzer, granola bars (for the kids) and lately, for SB, an small can of almonds. I also try to keep a spare pair of sneakers and white sox for those moments when I might have the opportunity for an impromptu walk! GREAT question!

Not cheap, frugal. And Hollister is ridiculously overpriced. So glad you got a good deal. I bet you and dd will look like sisters on your vacation.

Yes..... ridiculously overpriced.... and the quality on many of the items doesn't seem to be any better than Walmart.

Well..... we might look like sisters.... if you need glasses! I'm afraid that the grey hair and wrinkles are a dead give away!

Can't get the link here at school, but I'll check it out when I get home!

Wow.... you are really inspiring with the continuation of the P90X!

Just wanted you to know that Caleb has been lifted up in prayer repeatedly over the last many days. We will also be praying tomorrow at Tuesday morning ladies group. Keep us informed of how things are with him.

Get that shoulder better!! Shoulders are nothing to mess with!

I'm envious you get to Costco so often. I love the place, but being that it is over an hour's drive from here, I don't get there very often. Maybe once a month if I'm lucky. But we eat WELL after a trip to Costco! Love the fruit and veggies!

Okay folks! Monday is off and running!! :rotfl: Busy, busy morning trying to get a hot egg breakfast cooked for both DD and myself, plus packing lunches, snacks, etc. After school I pick up DD at the high school and head straight to Robotics (I'll be late, but oh well).... then off to drop DD at the pool, run home to throw dinner in the oven for the men, and then back to pick up DD at the Y and off to Rainbow Girls (I promised I'd attend tonight's meeting...:headache: ). Not sure exactly when dinner for DD and myself will fit in there.

Got in 30 minutes of exercise early this morning, but not sure when I will get in the other 15 minutes. I did some extra yesterday, so maybe I won't stress about it if I don't make the full 45 I had planned. But I'm trying to stick with my plan of a minimum of 45 minutes a day, every day, for the next 4 weeks, until our trip to Disney.

Well.... I'm at work and the kids are reading and cutting out a project now so I gotta run!......................P

hello everyone! I ate pizza and monkey bread on Sat. eve when my mother in law unexpectedly showed up, and we ate out yesterday for our anniversary (which is today - 19 yrs.:thumbsup2 - but we don't have time to eat out this evening) so I was scared to weigh in this morning, but it wasn't too bad. I had chicken fajitas - didn't know the calories, and that always makes me nervous, but must not have been too bad a choice.(and we were too full for dessert!) Took a day off from exercise yesterday, and although I wasn't too confident that I would, I got up early and did my workout this morning :yay:
QOTD: I always grab a fiber 1 or special K bar before we leave, in case we run past a meal/snack time, I know that will hold me until I can eat a "good for me" meal, instead of grabbing something fast!

QOTD for Monday, April 11: What can you carry in your car that will help you stay on track?

Mint Gum! :goodvibes and a bottle of water.
Actually gum has been a big help at home too.
Once I know I have eaten enough healthy food, gum can help curb the rest of my appetite.
Also, chew mint gum when making things for the kids that you don't want to pick at... cookies, etc.

We're at 24 days! Wanna do a happy dance together???? .........P

:cool1::banana::dance3::yay::wizard:

I'm ready to go! I need to start making my packing list. Most of our little stuff (i.e. toiletries, 2nd pair of tennis shoes, beach towels, etc) are in our DVC box. It makes packing a lot easier and I have more suitcase space for souveniers :lmao:.

Just went out to check the mail and MICKEY MAIL!! :yay: :wizard:

:cool1: Hope you and P have a great trip!

Evening All!

Another successful day of journaling and I feel great about that. :thumbsup2 I ate three of my weeklie's today, leaving me with 42 left for Tuesday and Wednesday. I still need to increase my fruits and veggies intake though. :headache: My breakfast of an egg, milk, and an apple sustained me this morning. :yay: I had yogurt and a sandwich for lunch and we had hamburgers for dinner. Today may have been a little carb heavy though. Need to work on that too.

Hope everyone has a great day tomorrow! Thanks for all the support! You rock!

I got DIS mail!!!! We got the t-shirt I won from having my question asked on the FB to FB in February! Brian gets this one as his shrunk and fits me.

Girls have gone to bed! I should go take care of laundry now. Kids played a Disney game on FB and before that they each played Brian in Connect 4. Chuck is on now. I do need to get some more cleaning done but I think I should focus on my room right now so I can go to bed and get up and work out in the morning. I hope to be able to walk/jog at the track tomorrow night during Izzie's soccer practice. I really enjoyed that in the fall.

Brian's been trying to finish our trip report from our December trip. We forgot to write anything down for the last 2 days so we are trying to retrace our steps. I love retracing our steps but it makes me want to go back even more! Having major Disney withdrawal. I may need to watch our videos and also make our DVDs of the trip. We should try and work on that next week.

Have a good night and don't forget to send me your weigh ins!

TTFN :tigger:

:wave2: I'm back! We had a long Spring Break trip to visit family and friends in the Midwest. It was a great trip (mostly) but very tiring. Not a lot of sleep so I did some catching up today and slept until noon.

Boy did my body NOT like the changes it was put through, the lack of sleep, lack of water and major change in eating, particularly the drop in fiber. I did the best I could to try to moderate my eating but there was a serious lack of vegetation. When we were at my mother's I was able to go and buy some bags of fresh vegetables that covered us for 2 days. Other than a salad or two that was about all we got.

My sister is about a size 2 and for a skinny chick she is OBSESSED with food! I swear that she spent the entire 11 days focused on where her next meal was coming from and what it would be. And she really wanted to go to some pretty bad places. But after a few days I realized that part of her problem was that when we did eat she would eat about 10 bites and then be done. Even my kids were :sad2: at how much she talked about where we should go to eat and how often she wanted to eat again. I realize that we are told that you should eat many small meals a day but really her eating seemed to rule her life and her thinking. And she would get a "craving" into her head and couldn't seem to let it go. It was very weird.

I had to overrule on a few of her choices because she wanted a lot of pasta and high fat items from places without better options. I was able to actually be pretty good for most of the trip. I adapted what we were having to meet my dietary needs and enjoyed some goodies in moderation. The last 2 days we were back at my sister's house and that was the hardest-- one day we had only bread and cupcakes to eat (don't ask!).

SO I came home and I told you all I wasn't going to weigh in but frankly I was absolutely dying to know how I had done. I mentally prepared myself for about a 5-7 pound gain, but really wasn't sure what to expect since I happened to bring an extra Aunt home with me;). So I stepped on this morning and. . . EXACTLY THE SAME! The exact same weight as the day I left!:cool1: Frankly I am shocked but certainly very happy! So back to a healthy diet and back to trying to keep up here. No way I can go back and catch up but I will just jump back in.:surfweb:

I hope that everyone had a great week!

I try to always bring a water with me when I leave the house to keep in the car in case i get thirsty and/or to hold off the need to snack!!

been at this a week today, did OK until today, had small hiccup last week and then again today, so really 2 not so great days...
allergies/sinuses have been playing havoc with my head, I desperately want to start going to the gym but the post nasal drip makes me cough sooo much!!

Evening!

I'm drinking a strawberry daquiri wine cooler and getting ready to tackle our packing list. I hadn't heard from my trainer over the weekend so I'm assuming I don't have training sessions this week. Depending on the weather tomorrow I may go to the gym for a bit. Now that school is over I'm pretty much just playing each day by ear, nothing really planned at all.

Hi, everyone! I am so sorry I was out of touch today. You would just never believe how this day went. It was totally crazy.

I will catch up on replies tomorrow.

Here is the
QOTD for Tuesday, April 12:
Make something old new again and re-energize your menu!

Share with us how you take something kind of ordinary and make it something new and interesting!

My response to QOTD:
I have tried two "twists" recently
1. I put cauliflower through my immersion blender with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray and some garlic and salt and used that in place of mashed potatoes with dinner. It was delicious!!
2. I cored an apple, pierced the skin, sprinkled cinnamon blend down into the center and sat it in a small cereal bowl with a little water in the bottom. I put it in the microwave and steamed it to make a "baked apple". It was delicious!

Have a great night, my friends! I am going to finish up some work and head to bed soon. Missed you all terribly today. :grouphug:

OMG! This wind is awful!!!!! The whole house is shaking and the windows rattling! No more sleep for me which also means no working out or I will have to take a nap in the middle of the day when I have a client! Ok, there's a bad excuse. I will workout during BL tonight though.

Planning on shopping tomorrow afternoon but they are calling for heavy rain and I hate shopping in the rain when it isn't a mall. So we may just wait until Saturday after the soccer games are over.

My mind is racing right now and I'm getting stressed over nothing except this wind! I got to sleep around 10 last night. I was watching The Proposal when I fell asleep. THat was an intentional thing! Brian was trying to fix a problem with our HD stations in the living room and I was just tired! I'll probably be that way tonight too!

I'd grab Kingdom Keepers from Ash's room but right now her room is such a mess I risk hurting myself without any lights on. That's what we'll do tomorrow afternoon if we skip shopping is get these rooms cleaned.

Guess, I'll put the tv on for a bit and maybe try to catch a few more Z's. I'll set the alarm on my phone so I get up by 6:15 though with this wind I doubt I'll get much more sleep!

TTFN :tigger:

Good Tuesday morning Teams

tigger813 sorry to hear about the wind. Dh can't sleep when we have a bad wind night. We get bad wind when we have a certainn type of storm that happens along the coast.

I had a rotten night sleep. Dh went to bed before me and when I went up he was snoring. No matter how he layed on the bed he was snoring. I know he is catching a cold so that was the problem last night. I hate when he catches a cold. You can't talk to him at all. I hope he is over it by Friday so it doesn't ruin spring break.

Don't have time to talk today.

Have a happy and healthy day.
