Biggest Loser 11 Spring Team Challenge--for Losers and Maintainers

oh man oh man oh man that sounds like a GREAT trip!! i love your itinerary. i have never not gone immediately to a park after dropping off my bags and we have been saying for ages that we need more resort only days! next time i'll take your queue (plus, i'm hoping for a sept trip when i'll be 29 weeks pg so i think i'll need to float in the pool alot more!)

i love epcot. don't forget to try some of the delish drinks around the world showcase!

oh and your CS that you have planned sometime during your HS day? how about the abc commissary? i actually look forward to their asian salad (and i NEVER look forward to salads!). it's yummy!

sounds like SUCH a great plan! LTT yum!!

Yeah, I'm looking for a good CS at Hollywood Studios. In all the trips we've ever gone to Hollywood Studios (other then Christmas) the only place we ate at was the "Rosie's" place across from Beauty and the Beast. However, when we did Sci Fi for Christmas last year I was hooked

Kristi- WOW! You look amazing! Doesn't look like the same person!!!!

Cam- Her birthday isn't for another month but we got it when we had time and it was on sale! It's hiding in the storage room!

I'm going to do the results while Brian and I watch BL. I did 3 miles at the track tonight including 3/4 of a mile non stop! It felt great! I got my new sneakers this afternoon and they felt pretty good. My feet always get a little numb when I first wear them so this wasn't too bad.

Going to get a lot of work done around here in the morning while the kids are at school. The only time I plan on leaving the house is to take Izzie to dancing at 4! I'm also going to make the pulled pork and I think the girls and I will do some baking in the afternoon after they both clean their rooms.

Kids are tired after soccer and dancing tonight. Ash also got her Easter dress today. Hopefully the rest of us will get ours on Friday!

Need to fix an extra bite to eat though I think I'm going to have some clementines!
The scale was back down to where it was last Friday when I stepped on it this morning which is strange since I haven't exercised since Friday and I haven't been eating all that well either! Strange!

TTFN :tigger:

AS OF NOW NO MORE WEIGH INS WILL BE ACCEPTED! I WILL BE POSTING RESULTS WITHIN THE HOUR!

I journaled again today! I can't thank all of you enough for the support and encouragement! :) Journaling is definitely working. I was down at WW when I weighed-in today. I had planned to make Wednesdays my weigh-in day, but tomorrow is getting busier and busier and I didn't want to miss going. I am still up for the BL challenge and even up since I rejoined WW, but this loss is really motivating me. :cloud9: I used 4 weeklies today, bringing me to 39 left for the week. I do not plan to eat them all. I may eat 3-4 depending on what tomorrow brings. I think dinner will be Subway.

Cam: My trip isn't until August. I haven't even started counting days yet.

Have a great, OP day tomorrow everyone! Hope we all get a good night's rest! :goodvibes

Hey, everyone!
Crazy day today. Just wanted to post the QOTD:
QOTD for Monday, April 11: What can you carry in your car that will help you stay on track? ;)

I usually keep some water and some low cal snack bars in the car. This reminds me that I need to restock.

Kudos to DD for sticking to SB. I can't imagine how hard it is, especially since there are probably all sorts of tempting foods in her world, especially at school. Sorry you didn't get your workout in, but it sounds to me like your day has been a workout in and of itself! Enjoy your low carb lasagna. Sounds delicious. I think I had low-carb eggplant parm last night. :confused3

:lmao: Lisa - You always make me smile! :cloud9:

Nancy, I'm sorry about your friend but kind of glad that you got a break. Pretzels are my cheez-its. LOL!

*****************
Okay, I promised an update and you’ll be sorry you’ve indulged me.

First of all, I am so sorry I have been so out of touch. To say that it has been a bit busy in our house is a big understatement. I don’t even know where to start. Oh, wait, yes I do. Work. Work is busy. Very busy. On top of everything else, I’ve taken on some administrative responsibilities that need to be addressed and that I enjoy handling, while my partners do not. It’s just time-consuming. On top of that, I attended a continuing legal education seminar yesterday that went from 8 a.m.-5:45 p.m. The entire time I was there, I was dealing with cases by email while trying to pay very close attention and take notes.

We had a great weekend, but originally nothing was planned and I thought it would be kind of relaxing. As it turned out, Friday night Howard and I watched a movie and waited up for Andrew who was out at the movies in very bad rain. Saturday morning, I met pjstevens for an hour-long walk, which was very nice. Then, home to shower and dress and wrap a present. The boys (Andrew and J.) decided to stay home and do homework, so Howard and I drove almost an hour and had a nice, adult lunch with our friends Marie & Jim, and then Marie & I did some shopping at J.Jill and Coldwater Creek. After she and Jim left, Howard and I hit several more stores.

When we got home, we made dinner for the boys and then Howard and I drove Andrew to a play at a friend’s school about 20 minutes away. While Andrew was at the play, Howard and I went to a farmers’ market and then to the mall. We walked through a new Nordstrom’s that opened there, and I was kind of disappointed not to find anything I wanted. We wandered the mall a bit and I found a cute top for our cruise at Coldwater Creek. It is sleeveless (GASP!!) and bright pink with layers of ruffles across the front. NOTHING I would have ever thought I’d wear but it was cute and comfy and I think it will be perfect for our day in Corsica. We picked Andrew up, bought strawberry ice cream for J. and were home around 11:15.

Sunday, after a 90-minute grocery shopping trip, Howard and I had brunch with Andrew & J. and Andrew’s girlfriend’s family. They were nice and GF is absolutely the sweetest girl he has ever dated. I hope she doesn’t break his heart. :sad1: Then, Andrew had play practice and Howard, J. and I went home. I ended up cooking & prepping food for the week for about 5 hours, straightened the fridge and pantry, etc. We all had a nice dinner together while watching “TRON”. It was fun.

Yesterday was my seminar and I got home about 90 minutes earlier than I usually do. WOW! Does that make a huge difference! I got a lot accomplished last night, including cooking some really fun Mexican food for Andrew & J and prepping everything for Howard to make his when he got home. I had a 40 minute conversation with the principal of Andrew & J’s school about J, his future, his college plans, etc. I was emotionally wiped out after that, but stayed up until 11:30 to nearly finish our taxes.
I had a hard time sleeping, though. My mind was racing with everything we have going on in the next couple of months. The main issues on my mind/plate right now are:

1. J. really wants to go to college in the US and we are trying to help him decide on the right path, which is very difficult because what he wants may not be feasible and it really may not be the right thing for him.

2. Andrew is going to his GF’s prom. It is during the second weekend of his school musical. We have to figure out logistics, etc. and have to deal with his tux rental.

3. The musical opens the weekend after AP exams, making tech week during AP exam week, which is ridiculously poor planning on the part of the school. :confused3 They need lots of parent help leading up to the play. I am hoping to carve time out to help with costumes. We also have to put together Andrew’s ad page which means tracking down pictures of him in all of his plays over the years. That won’t be easy. EEK!

4. J. wants to go to his senior prom. It is extremely expensive and he doesn’t know anyone to ask and yet wants to go anyway; the prom is couples only and the ticket is $240/couple. On top of that is tux rental, flowers, his share of the limo, etc. We can’t blame him for wanting to go, but again, this is a situation where there are so many considerations about which he has no concept.

5. We are hosting the pre- and post-prom parties for Andrew & J’s prom at our house. I have to figure out food and logistics for putting it all together, as soon as Andrew knows how many kids are coming, whether they are doing a party bus or a limo (which will decide how many kids are at our house) and whether J is going and if we have to go pick up his date, etc.

6. J. wants several of his family members and their friends to attend his HS graduation. I don’t think he understands the cost for them to travel here and that they’d have to pay for hotel and food while they are in the US. It seems like his one brother who has a decent job puts everything on his credit card and J. thinks the money supply is not limited. Also, how about transportation issues when they are here? We will have a house full of guests and it is Andrew’s graduation, too, so we will not be free to do the airport runs, and we will be completely unable to help with transportation, lodging, etc. for his family and their friends, if they come.

7. Andrew has decided on his college. He is going to UD, giving up a huge scholarship at University of South Carolina. We are hopeful that the reasons he has discussed with us for his decision are really the driving force and that he doesn’t seriously regret staying close to home if it turns out that this relationship doesn’t work or if we have another cold, snowy winter that makes him remember he could have been in SC.

8. I have to find and cancel all the hotel reservations for SC including for Easter weekend (when we were going to tour the campus and he was going to audition for the drumline); move-in weekend; and parents’ weekend.

9. J. is flying to Miami and then to Haiti over Easter break. We have to coordinate his transportation to and from the airport, including for his 6 a.m. flight next Thursday. I am hoping neither Howard nor I will have to take off work the following Friday to pick him up.

10. Jenn’s graduation is the night of Andrew & J’s prom. This will require some coordination but we are planning to attend the departmental graduation that night as soon as we get the boys off to the prom, and we’ll attend the university graduation the next morning. Then, we’ll do a celebratory brunch at our favorite special-occasion restaurant. We have to figure out how many people are coming, make the reservation and order a cake.

11. We have decided to have an open house graduation party the week after Jenn’s graduation/the morning after the boys’ graduation for the three graduates. We have not yet found the caterer or arranged for a tent, tables & chairs. And, again, I have no idea what to do about J’s family. They’ll be invited but I don’t know where they will be staying and whether they will have any logistical difficulties with attending. Also, only one of his brothers speaks English. I am hoping they will enjoy themselves.

12. We have no idea when J. will be moving out. I am sure he can’t take all his possessions back to Haiti with him. Somebody is going to have to figure that out and discuss it with him. That will not be me – I keep falling apart every time I think of him leaving and I just don’t want to upset him.

13. I think J.’s move-out date may be during Special Olympics summer games. Howard and I are on the organizing committee and won’t be around at all for 3 days that week, so I am worried about when he is moving out, who is going to help him, whether he is going to the airport, who will drive him, etc. etc.

14. We leave for Barcelona in 10 ½ weeks. I have had no time for about two weeks to do anything for the trip.

I’m sure I’ve left out a lot, but my brain is fried. I am so terrified something is going to get lost in the shuffle. I am hoping to keep everyone safe, sane and happy for the next 7 ½ weeks.

Wow you have so much on your plate plus a full time job. Planning sounds like a full time job with all that you have going.

Hello everyone,

Sorry I have not been on here in a while. Crazy week with book fair at one school and preparing for book fair at another school. I am also having a hard time with snacking in the afternoon. This has been since we got back from our cruise. I really need to get back on target.

On a good note, I was looking through some pictures on my phone and found one that was taken last August, a few weeks before I started WW. It shocked me.

Here is one of me and DH on the cruise two weeks ago.

It makes me feel good to see the results - and hopefully get back on target to keep going.

You look amazing!!

Biggest Loser 11 Spring Challenge Week 14!
This week’s group loss is 36.4 lbs

Total group weight loss for both teams so far 1196.4 pounds! WOW!!!!! (Doesn’t add up right as we had a lot of late weigh ins last week that were not included on last week’s results.)

AWESOME!

Before the weekly superstar list comes the disclaimer. I am human and I make mistakes. If you have any questions please contact me. For your reference this is the magic percentage of weight lost formula - weight loss for the week divided by weight for last week times 100, that gives us the percentage. Now let me test that with my numbers for week 1, click, click, click goes the calculator. Yes, that agrees with the percentage on the magic spreadsheet. (btw if its been more than 1 week between weigh-ins, then the % loss is divided by the number of weeks, to keep everybody on the same basis)

Now let's get to the good stuff. Who were our superstars of the week? This time I’ve done a TOP 10 LIST ! That criteria may change from week to week. Hey I'm in charge here and I get paid nothin' to do this so you better take what you can get! (and if there’s something you want to know, just ask me!)

Tracey, I took a little inspiration from you and I MOVED for a full hour of Biggest Loser! I got out my step and my Bosu ball and stepped and then balanced!

It was good for me! I did not feel like a slug as I watched!!

I have not lost any weight for 3 weeks, I am in need of a change!! Hopefully this will help!!

Thanks everyone for your awesome support and sharing!!

Good wednesday morning Teams

Congrats to all the biggest losers especially GoodMorningDewDrop

Disneywedding2010 your trip sounds wonderful. BLT is my dream location. That is where I am going to stay to celebrate my retirement.

KristiMc your pictures are inspirational

Cam I can't believe you have so much going on in the next 7 weeks. So many good things. As crazy as it is don't forget to take the time to savor the good things

Hi to everyone else this morning.

It was pouring rain this morning. The storm is still in the area and we are going to get some rain on and off all day. ALso windy. I woke up with my knee bothering me and then I remembered the rain we are having.

Have to get some bulbs for my kitchen light. I turned it on and it was not so bright. There are 4 bulbs and only one is working. Three out of 4 were working last week and now three are out.

Work has been crazy. Spring break starts on Friday so kids are coming and going like crazy. My student teacher stops teaching on Friday and only has one week after break. The three copy machines we have in the building are acting up. They got one fixed but the other two are waiting for parts from JAPAN:scared1::scared1: like they having better to do over there than send parts for some crummy copiers.

I journaled yesterday. It was pretty bad but I journaled. TOday is another day.

Off to get ready for work.

Have a happy and healthy day

Cam-GOD BLESS YOU! My head is spinning thinking of all you have going on! I don't think I could handle all that! I'm just worried about how I'm going to get this house cleaned up before we have company in two weeks! Hoping we can all work together to get the garage and storage room done during the week since Brian is off and get stuff to the dump.

Just got Ash up to do her homework as we had no time yesterday. Luckily she doesn't have much.

Definitely going to have to go shopping on Friday to get dresses and Harry Potter as Brian is not getting it free:(. Hopefully we can get it all done quickly so we can come home and watch HP during supper.

Gotta get going as I need to get the pork in the crockpot so we can have that for supper!

The scale is being kind to me this week and I don't know why. I'm down 1.2 since Friday and yesterday was my first day of exercise this week. I'm going to eat lots of clementines today and drink lots of water since I will be home.

TTFN :tigger:

Congratulations to last weeks biggest losers!

Kristi – amazing pictures and incredible results in such a short time.

Cam – I can’t imagine keeping up with everything on your plate.

Loves to scrap – congratulations on coming back at exactly the same weight. That is not easy!

My TOM never did come but the bloating went away. I’m having a good week. I have a lot going on in the next 10 days before vacation but I’m determined to get down 2 more pounds. I know I can do it!

QOTD for Wednesday, April 13:
I know this one has kind of been done before, but here is your big chance. You are on stage. You have everyone's attention for about 30 seconds. LOL!!! Tell us a joke or something inspirational. Seize the opportunity to plant a smile in someone's head or a positve thought that they can go back to when they are feeling a little low. For those of you with little ones, it can be something funny they've said or a joke they've told (even if it is corny).

It is rainy and dreary here and I thought we could all use a smile. I hope you are all okay with a non-weight loss related QOTD. :)

Good morning, loser friends!! Just back from the dentist where I got my permanent crown. Phew. Have I mentioned I hate the dentist? I'm happy I couldn't get another morning appointment for more work til the end of may. :lmao: I need a couple more crowns, but want to wait til michael goes to the orthodontist to figure out the dental budget for this year. I'm hoping he needs to wait longer, and then i could use next years flex spending for him. It kills me to spend so much on my teeth, not so much his, but when it's for me, it's more painful. My root canal and crown last year cost as much as a free dining wdw trip in august.

Holy-mega-reply, Batman! :rotfl2:
:rotfl2: too funny, Robin.

he's playing with his trucks instead while i'm sitting here crying from the first "Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba: (i had to google that - it's the swahili words sung at the beginning of the movie!:lovestruc)
I think I like the disney movies more than michael too. Love that part of the movie, but never knew what they were saying. Thanks for googling that for us. You friend reminds me of a friend i used to have. Our friendship dissolved after I had my son, but I remember she got so mad at our other friend who was 8 months pregnant in the heat of july and she cancelled a shopping trip she was so pissed off at her, and couldn't even see that 90 degrees and 8 months pregnant might be a bit umcomfortable. :confused3 people are funny.

I’m sure I’ve left out a lot, but my brain is fried. I am so terrified something is going to get lost in the shuffle. I am hoping to keep everyone safe, sane and happy for the next 7 ½ weeks.
I am exhausted just reading about all you have going on. I am sure you will carry out all you need to do with grace and everyone will be happy. A few things might not go exactly as planned, but it will all work out, and you will make wonderful memories for both of your kids as they graduate. I graduated high school the same year my sister graduated college, and I remember we had a joint party, too, and my mom had little graduate cut outs standing by the cake with out names on them. Funny the little details you remember. Sending pixie dust all goes very smoothly.
How long as J. been with you? What a wonderful thing you have done for him to bring him into your family and enable him to get his education. You are amazing, Cam.

He loved the light up sneakers and chose to have a birthday candle in his mac and cheese !
I love that he wanted his candle in the mac and cheese. So cute. Glad you had a fun weekend.

Ever had a morning when you get blamed for everything!
Pretty much every morning last week was like that here. I couldn't wait for the bus to get here. Hope things are better now, and if Ash is like Michael, a weekend off mad all the difference. Are you taking some time off next week for spring break? We're going to go to lexington early monday am for the reenactment of the start of the revolution.

I journaled again today! I can't thank all of you enough for the support and encouragement! :) Journaling is definitely working. I was down at WW when I weighed-in today.

My trip isn't until August. I haven't even started counting days yet.

Spring break starts on Friday so kids are coming and going like crazy.
Are high schoolers as hyper and over excited this week like the grade schoolers? I can only imagine how much work gets done on friday in most schools. Hope you have some fun planned for spring break, and everything gets done this week.

KristiMc- You look amazing. Congratulations.

Hope everyone is doing well. I am journalling, though I am journalling too many snacks. Oh well, the scale is holding steady, so far, and I do know it would be worse if I wasn't journalling.

Ds has a dentist appt and then we need to get a new baseball glove and helmet, and maybe cleats. Need to try his old cleats on first. He just got his team assignment, and he's psyched to be on a team with lots of friend he's been on teams with before, and I'm happy because it's a great group of parents, and I know the games will be lots of fun for me too. One of the other mom's is also disney addict, so that will be fun. And the best part is the coach works late in the afternoons, so practices will be at 6, so I should be able to get him there, even on my 5:30 days. So, life is good. Off to make my lunch.

have a great day!!:)

Fun question, Cam.

When michael was about 3, we were at my nephew's birthday party, and a little girl walked in with beautiful, long curly blond hair, and he pointed at her and said, "when I'm a girl, I'm going to have hair like that."

ACK! I would be dying to give it to her!! LOL! How fun to know it is there and just waiting. What a wonderful surprise that will be for her. :goodvibes When do the sewing classes start?

AWESOME!!! Congratulations to all of our maintainers and our losers. It is wonderful to see some new names up there, too. WOOHOO! You guys are doing great. :woohoo:

And I know I say this all the time, but huge KUDOS to everyone who checks in here. There is a LOT to be said for "showing up". I am convinced that if we can all just check in here and do the best we can, sooner (hopefully) or later, the wagon starts looking like a fun, rewarding place to be. Especially when we see that lots of "cool LOSERS" are on the wagon, and we want to jump on for the ride. ;)

Tracey, I took a little inspiration from you and I MOVED for a full hour of Biggest Loser! I got out my step and my Bosu ball and stepped and then balanced!

Great job, Nancy!! Even if you aren't seeing changes in the scale, look for changes in your body. Look for changes in how much easier it becomes to breathe through those activities. Think of how much easier it is to motivate yourself off the couch. These are all changes to be proud of. :cloud9:

Work has been crazy. Spring break starts on Friday so kids are coming and going like crazy. My student teacher stops teaching on Friday and only has one week after break. The three copy machines we have in the building are acting up. They got one fixed but the other two are waiting for parts from JAPAN:scared1::scared1: like they having better to do over there than send parts for some crummy copiers.

I journaled yesterday. It was pretty bad but I journaled. TOday is another day.

WOW! Dona, that is a lot to deal with. I hope you've enjoyed having a student teacher and that it lessened your workload even a tiny bit. I know this time of year is so crazy for teachers. My friend who teaches AP and Honors Chem is scrambliing to fit in labs and material that the kids need to get into their heads, and some of it before the AP exams. Her school actually moved their spring break so that it isn't right before the AP exams, so she will have one week after break to work with her AP kids.

Sorry about the copiers. Scary to think of how dependent we are on replacement parts from Japan for everyday technology.

Thank you for the reminder to savor each event and to really find time to be in the moment. It is an important reminder for all of us. A lot of times we are getting through one thing just to move on to the next thing. We do this in our weight loss efforts, too. I am really trying not to be impatient with my slow rate of loss and to enjoy the fact that I am wearing clothes that haven't fit in more than 2 years. Yes, I am eager to get to a new size but it's okay to just "be" until I achieve the next lower size (and all new clothes at that point!)

Congrats on the journaling!! Personally, I think it is harder to journal the ugly days than the good ones. The fact that you are doing it is awesome!! I am right there with you and you guys are inspiring me big time. I have now journaled 12 days in a row in my 3 month WW planner that will take me right up to my last weigh in before Barcelona. The fact that you and CC and Shawn and Kathy and so many others are doing this with me helps me stay on track. :goodvibes

Cam-GOD BLESS YOU! My head is spinning thinking of all you have going on! I don't think I could handle all that! I'm just worried about how I'm going to get this house cleaned up before we have company in two weeks! Hoping we can all work together to get the garage and storage room done during the week since Brian is off and get stuff to the dump.

. . . The scale is being kind to me this week and I don't know why. I'm down 1.2 since Friday and yesterday was my first day of exercise this week. I'm going to eat lots of clementines today and drink lots of water since I will be home.

Good luck with the cleaning, Tracey! I've given up on that. It's a lost cause in my house. Fortunately, we have someone who comes in one morning every other Wednesday to dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean the bathrooms. By the weekend before she is due, I can barely stand the clutter, etc. We almost constantly discuss where our budget is going and always come to the conclusion that those few dollars are well-spent. AND it gives a stay-at-home mom an opportunity to make some money while her kids are in school. :cutie:That's my story and I'm sticking to it. LOL!

...My TOM never did come but the bloating went away. I’m having a good week. I have a lot going on in the next 10 days before vacation but I’m determined to get down 2 more pounds. I know I can do it!

YES!! We KNOW you can do it, too! Keep up the great work. :cheer2:

hey tracey (tigger813) - remember how you were saying you were going to watch the royal wedding and have british food? i just saw this article and thought of you : http://www.people.com/people/package/article/0,,20395222_20480928,00.html

Nancy, it was so sweet of you to share that article. You've reminded me I have a scone mix in the cupboard. I think I will make them for my office and bring them and a fruit bowl in on the morning of the royal wedding. :goodvibes

Lori – You have definitely had so much on your plate the past week or so. I hope that your shoulder is doing better and that you are noticing that your BP is under control. Congratulations on your great-nephew. I love his name! Does he live nearby? Have you had the opportunity to meet him yet? Aren’t babies the most wonderful thing in all of God’s creation?

They do live nearby and I got to visit them in the hospital the day he was born! The most fun that day was watching my daughters hold their new baby cousin! Watching their faces and seeing them register the miracle they were holding was priceless! I hope to get to spend a lot of time with the little guy, as I live much closer than both sets of grandparents. Maybe I'll get to be the go-to babysitter when they need one!:thumbsup2

Cam, you should talk about other people's busy lives! Your schedule looks crazy! Incidentally, our lives are matching up in that we're both dealing with AP exams and prom! Ugh! Our spring break is the week following Easter, so my dd gets to take her first AP exam the first day back to school. I agree, poor planning on the part of the schools!

Hello everyone,

On a good note, I was looking through some pictures on my phone and found one that was taken last August, a few weeks before I started WW. It shocked me.

Here is one of me and DH on the cruise two weeks ago.

It makes me feel good to see the results - and hopefully get back on target to keep going.

WOW!! Congrats! Kristi, you look great and are an inspiration to all of us!

My root canal and crown last year cost as much as a free dining wdw trip in august.

. . .
You are amazing, Cam.

....We're going to go to lexington early monday am for the reenactment of the start of the revolution.

... Hope everyone is doing well. I am journalling, though I am journalling too many snacks. Oh well, the scale is holding steady, so far, and I do know it would be worse if I wasn't journalling.

Kathy - Glad the crown is done. Sorry more dental work is on your horizon. EEK! I am such a wimp. You have my sympathy. Yay! for Michael's team assignment and for the practice time. Glad it should take a bit of pressure off you. Thank you for sharing your memory of your graduation party. I hope I can make it special for the kids. I hadn't thought of putting figures on the cake, but what a great idea - I can do 2 boys and 1 girl (think I could find them on ebay?) and they'd each have a souvenir. J. has been with us since early January. It has been a wonderful experience for all of us.

Fun question, Cam.

When michael was about 3, we were at my nephew's birthday party, and a little girl walked in with beautiful, long curly blond hair, and he pointed at her and said, "when I'm a girl, I'm going to have hair like that."

OMG! That is SUCH a fun memory!!! I totally LOL'ed :rotfl: and told a couple friends here that story. I figure I should pass the smiles on, right?

Lori - I am so glad your great-nephew lives nearby. Your kids will love sharing his growing up and will be amazed to see how he grows, learns and develops. I think pictures of kids holding babies are the most precious images. The kids are always amazed to realize they were ever that small, even if they have seen pictures of themselves as babies. I hope you get to babysit a lot! Good luck with prom season and AP exams. We can commiserate here as our teens slowly drive us crazy.

Congrats to all the Losers and Maintainers!:goodvibes

Kristi--great pictures! You must be so pleased!

Cam Thank you so much for doing such a fabulous job coaching this week. I am sorry to have been so MIA, but I so appreciate knowing I didn't need to worry about how things were going here.:goodvibes

I have been having one of those--don't have much to say weeks. Just dealing with a bunch of stuff at home.

QOTD--The princesses have heard this story, so I apologize. When DS was three or four we went through Mickey's house. I don't think it was even toon town yet. Anyhow, he kept asking Mike--where is Mickey's puter? DS was really into computers. And Mike had to keep telling him Mickey didn't have a computer. Fast forward 16 years, in December we were at the pin store at DTD and DS said--Mom come here, look, I found Mickey's puter! It was a computer pin with Mickey on it. It's so silly, I don't know if he remembered cause we told him the story of if he really remembered. But I now have a computer pin on my lanyard.:goodvibes Oh my gosh, and now I'm all weepy too!:goodvibes

Have a good day everyone!
