Kind of an odd question, but I thought I would put it out there as a newbie to see what kind of responses I would get...

(hopefully putting this in the right spot.. seems logical to me!)

So I guess in two points:

There are SO many sites out there dedicated to planning/tips/budget/etc.

I am really struggling to find the biggest & best for an all-inclusive, all-in-one spot. That's one.

More specifically, forum communities! So far, from what I've seen, wdwmagic and disboards seem to be the mother of communities... is that the case? Are these two the big mac-daddies? Any other mainstream big ones out there I might be overlooking? Forums seem to really have a lot of useful info. That's two.

Any feedback is much appreciated! Thanks!!!

You are correct that the disboards.com is the mother of all information posting boards. I also find a few other sites very informative and helpful, although sometimes outdated:rolleyes1:

allears.net
mousesavers.com
trouingplans.com (requires paid membership for most features but VERY resonable)

But truthfully, everything is right here!

Cool.. I've heard about allears and mousesavers... what is the other one?

Touringplans.com is from the authors of The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World. If you buy the book, there is a code to use the website for free. And there is usually a discount in the Allears.net newsletter. But honestly, the basic subscription price is around $10 for a year, if I remember correctly.

The website explains why the way you tour can have a huge impact on your experience, and offers touring plans that they have researched to reduce you wait time in lines. They also offer my favorite tool of all time, a touring cheat sheet. Basically, you arrive at a park when you want and see what attractions should be little or no wait. You will also be able to see, in advance, which rides you really need to go on first thing when the park opens. They also post a crowd calendar showing the predicted busiest attendance days and the best/worst park for any particular day. I have found these predicitons to be spot on.

Cool... is it different than what is in the book? We actually bought it before our last trip. I didn't get into it but my fiancee read quite a bit of it.
