Big, white headed things in Spectromagic parade

What are those Big, white headed, wild haired things? Anyone else think they are a little scarey looking? Is it just me? My family thinks they are cool looking, I think they're freaky! Tell me I'm not alone!

I call them Spectro babies...and they are indeed, weird....they are cute enough I guess...but I don't understand why Disney didn't do something with one of the hundreds of other characters they have to choose from....

They scare me a lot and I used to avoid that parade I finally go over it after my family protested but I can't look at them during the parade they remind me of the talking puppet from that scary movie!

I think the Luna Park Pool slide is waaaaaaay more scary than the cute little laughing guys in Spectromagic.
