Big Thunder...right on schedule!!!

I just read on another board from a Frontierland CM (works at BTMRR), that everything is right on schedule for reopening for November 22nd!
He said..."Test n' Tune" is taking place because all of the mechanical and sturctural work has been completed. Still has some cosmetic work to be done. They have installed a new ride system that requires two CM's to dispatch the trains and they still have to get trained on these systems.

So my most favorite ride is GOOD TO GO for our January trip!!

Yea!! I'm a BTMRR fan myself...especially the last car !

You folks are lucky!

BTMRR is my ultimate favorite of all the parks, and wouldn't you know, our trip is November 8th-15th.

At least DH and DD will get to ride their favorites, (TOT and R&R.)

I'll compromise and ride Space Mountain. (But only once! I'm a bigger chicken w/each passing year, but never w/BTMRR.)

Oh cool! I wonder if they will soft open it at all early - I hope so! My middle daughter is NOT a thrill rider, but she LOVES BTMRR. She is so bummed that it will be closed on our trip Nov 9-16!

2tinksmom, I'm right there with ya about the last car!! I ask the attendant every ride if we can wait for the last one and they always let us, its so awesome!!

2tinksmom and jillpie.. we're the same way! The ride is almost not worth riding in the front car (you spend the whole ride just 'hanging' there), but it's great in the back of the train! I am SO looking forward to our trip!
