big thunder ranch dinner

My daughter loves cowgirl things. I noticed that they have a western themed dinner now called celebration dinner/Big Thunder Ranch. Has anyone tried it? Any chance Jessie from Toy Story is around there?

It's great! We have had it twice. There is entertainment but it's not a character meal. Woody and Jesse wander thru sometimes but our last dinner we didn't see them at all.

We ate there on 2/12 and it was GREAT! There is a little show on the stage by country singers and they were really interactive with the crowd, especially kids. The food was really good. We didn't see Jessie or Woody there, but we did see them outside on our way in and were able to get pictures and authographs.

No characters but OMG it's soooooooooooooooooo good.....I was seriously jonesing for some Big Thunder BBQ today at lunch time. LOL

After seeing this on the DL planning dvd, I decided we are definitely going. The food looks delicious.

We did it when it was first offered, and we were lucky to enjoy the full deal with jessie, woody and bullseye, as well a the singing and music! I don't think i would do it again now that it doesn't come with the charachters...

I'm super excited about trying this, and I'm wondering (HOPING!) if Woody and Jessie will be back on a regular basis given the upcoming release of Toy Story 3??? My DS would flip and I would flip watching him flip.

After removing the characters prices dropped, if they bring them back they will raise the prices again.

Eating at the Big Thunder Ranch Barbecue was my fanily's favorite dining experience on our trip last September (and we also ate at the Blue Bayou and Goofy's Kitchen). The food was good and the entertainment was fun. We would have eaten there again on our January trip but it wasn't open the days we were there. If you like barbecue then it is a good meal at a decent price for all you can eat. The kids even got souvenir cups with lids that we use at home every day.
