My dd (4) is finally tall enough to ride the big roller coasters! :woohoo:

I know you can fit three across on BTMR, but can it fit two adults and one child?

Thanks!!! In two weeks we're going for the first time in over a year! We had to take a break since I was pregnant last year and now have a 4 month old ds!!!!

Ok...so it really DOES depend on the size of the adults. Let's just say I'm smaller and DH is bigger. We "could" fit the 3 of us all together but we "don't" want to. It would be a tight squeeze and why be uncomfortable if you don't have to, right?

DS and I usually ride together and then DH gets a whole seat to himself, which he loves.

Check out allears.net. They have pictures of the rides and more specifically of the seats. This was super helpful to me when planning DS's 1st trip, as I wasn't sure how we would configure the seating arrangments. With 2 adults and 1 child, it means you either all squeeze in together or 1 adult has to sit by themselves.

Thanks!! We're pretty average. Me more so than usual, b/c of the new baby.. :rolleyes1

Our real issue is that DH is built like a tank!:lmao:

At 6'3 and 275 pounds, he's not really overweight...there's just alot of him, KWIM? He really likes to have a seat all to himself, especially on BTMRR, so he can stretch out his legs a bit.

I always have him sit behind DS and I, that way he doesn't block our view too!

BTW....where's the new baby going to be?? Not on BTMMR;) and congrats!

We're bringing my MIL so he'll be with her taking a rest on a bench :goodvibes

Are you sure your dd4 is going to want to ride BTMR? It looks scary to me... I can't imagine how scary it must look for a 4yo!

My 3 1/2 yo loved it. We did matterhorn first to make sure he would be ok with BTMRR, and then he wanted to ride that. He was 1/4" too short so we went and bought him rain boots to get the extra height! My older ds ride BTMRR when he was 3 3/4 and loved it too. I don't think it's scary as long as your kiddo likes fast moving rides.

Just depends on the kid...

My DS has been riding it and LOVIN' IT since his 1st visit at age 3. On our last trip he rode it 8 times in a row. Seriously...8 times. I went the first 2 times, then bowed out (I'm so NOT a roller coaster fan) so DH took him the other 6 times. Props to DH!:worship:

You should have no problem fitting 3 to a row. I fit as a 10 year with both of my parents and we are taller and average sized.

If you are worried your little one might be nervous try sitting in the front 3 rows. the ride is less shaky and going down the low hills is really slow. Have a great time!

Our daughter been riding it since 3 1/2 and she loves it.

We like 1 row all 3 of us but we have done 2 rows not a big deal. Most of the time they will give you 2 rows unless you just ask for 1.

Last weekend we rode it 5 times a day for 3 days. Last march we rode it 6 times in a row
Its her favorite and still is.

Its easy ride to get a lot of fastpasses for in a short amount of time.

My DD4 is a big (yet tiny) roller coaster fan. Hoping she'll have a growth spurt before we go, though - still only 38”. I have the privilege of having daughters that love roller coasters as much as I do... TOT on the other hand is a totally different story, scared (then) DD5 so much at HS!
