Big Thunder closed next spring?

Ugh. I didn't know about Soarin. I thought it was staying open during the expansion. That sucks! Two big rides!

PER DISNEY "Soarin' will close for refurbishment beginning January 4, 2016 and shall reopen in the summer of 2016."

DD12 is super bummed Soarin' will be down for our January and May trips, but at least it will be open next month. BTMRR is another favorite, so that will be more sadness...

Sad I'm going second week of May too! Also BTM is going to be shut at Disneyland Paris when I'm there in November too!

I think that's a great idea. I didn't see much difference between the two except for the wait time and landscape.
