Hi,

I'm trying to figure out where we can go to lunch where my husband and I could split a sandwich and still be content. (maybe if we add in a dessert to split also) I know the Earl of Sandwich is supposed to be good and I just recently had one of the sandwiches in The Land at Epcot and it was huge. What are some others? How about in Magic Kingdom or MGM? Any help would be greatly appreciated because I don't think we are going to be able to do the dining plan on this trip coming up in Jan.

Thanks, Sue

At peco Bills at the MK get a double burger and order an extra bun. Pile on the toppings and share the fries for a very filling meal. We split the drink too!

Thanks,

I could order the extra bun and split the burger and fries but I think my husband would make me order the extra sandwich just so he wouldn't feel so cheap. I love the idea, thanks. Anyone else?

My husband and I love and usually split the Philly steak sandwich that is sold at MGM Studios, near the Indiana Jones show. :love1:

Ooooohhhh, We both love cheese steak sandwiches. Thanks. Sounds yummy. That is what I craved when I was pregnant - all 3 times! I LOVE CHEESESTEAK!

They have a couple large sandwiches at Pinnochio Village Haus in the MK and at Tusker House in AK.

The sandwiches at Columbia Harbour House in MK are large. You can't go wrong with the Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Cafe. DH and I are usually satisfied with a split sandwich and a soup or dessert.

My DH and I split the burger at Canada's Le Cellier and then both of us can order the beef soup- otherwise, too much food! The place is always great about doing this and I can't pass up that soup!

Tony's Town Square in MK has a 1/2 sandwich with soup of salad lunch plate that is pretty tasty, if you want a table service venue.

How about 50s Prime Time? I'm not sure what they serve for sandwiches though.

When I was there in June (and I am not a big eater) THEY offered ME a half portion meal. I ordered a half portion of the fried chicken. There were 2 pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans. The "half" portion was definately enough for me and I was only charged "half" price.

I must add that I have NEVER had a bad meal at 50s Prime Time...I love it!

I will be dining there again at the end of this month and I will be splitting the fried chicken meal with my 13 year old son.

50s prime time is really good about letting you order off the kids menu, ordering a "half" portion, or splitting a meal. Just don't forget to order one of their delicious milk shakes!

You can check out their menu at www.wdwig.com.

One of our favorites to split is the chicken wrap at Pecos Bill. We realized this one of the times we had it, because we had it full of fresh veggies from the toppings bar, and neither of us finished more than half.

Earl of Sandwich is one of our favorites, but the sandwiches there aren't big enough to split. We even tried splitting one and splitting a salad once and were starving an hour later - it's just not enough protein.
