Can't see it. :(

Thank the lord this is finally coming to an end. I really don't see how a single road race can possibly live up the "hype" the clues tried to ceate

When was the last time that Disney didn't over hype something (especially to the DIS community as a whole)??

I kind of like that it's probably going to be at DL. I've enjoyed going out there the last 2 years for their half on labor day weekend...my BF said he really likes the course (and I am finally running it this year!!)...I wouldn't mind another excuse to go out there! I'll never like it as much as WDW for sure, but it's a nice change of scenery once in a while.

I want to know what the "special opportunity" will be. I am thinking it will be "register today and save X", but I don't know if I'd be able to do that as traveling to DL will take a lot of planning compared to traveling to WDW.

DL races seem to sell out quickly, no?

I was just wondering the same thing and if that meant maybe a special perk or discount for the "friends" following this on facebook...I might just have to start a page this weekend just in case...and finally silence all my friends and family that always wonder why I don't have one. I just never saw the point for me personally...but it's fitting that something Disney-related would change my mind after all this time!

The DL race does sell out quickly...which is why I've felt all along it made more sense for them to add another race weekend at DL since they just have the one...and it's obviously popular.

hehe, you can make one and set it to private so no one knows you have it. :cool2:

My decision is going to be between "running" the wine and dine or skipping that and saving up to run whatever this race may be.

I'm also assuming at this point that it is a 2012 race and not 2011. Which means, if I choose the mystery race, I wouldn't achieve my goal of doing a Disney race in 2011.

Decisions, decisions.

Oh come on, I've never know disney to overhype anything.:rolleyes1

Going by the picture in clue 10, several on Run Disney are saying a night race at Disneyland. DL could use another race. The half sold our real quickly. It's been sold out for several weeks and the W&D a couple of weeks later isn't even showing %full yet. I'm doing my first Disney race this year at Disneyland and I'm real excited.

Yeah, my only worry is about the timing. I'm definitely in for the W&D this year...haven't registered yet, but we're making it a Food & Wine trip too with some friends of ours (that aren't running) so we're definitely going. And now, one of my cousins has shown some interest in training and doing the Princess next year, so I might end up doing that with her. But I REALLY want an inaugural medal for a race so I want to do whatever this one is...now I know not too many will like this, but if this race were to be a DL Princess, it would work out GREAT for me and I could kill two birds with one running shoe!

The possibility of an inaugural princess race is enough to make me giddy for the next year.

I am too impatient for this!!

Disneyland's facebook page just posted this:

Have you heard about the new Run Disney race being announced soon? Exact details are being kept under wraps until the official announcement, but exclusive clues can be found at the runDisney Facebook Page - Check it out!

And linked to the runDisney clues page...

This is totally a DL run - hopefully it will be in the fall so I can do the princess in florida and then the princess in california - I would LOVE that coast to coast medal!
