We had a nice lunch there week before last. The smell inside is very strong at first but I got used to it - it's due to the beer fementation or something like that. Service was great, they also have tables outside. We sat at one of the bar height tables and the tabletop was too small - next time we'll ask to be seated at regular tables on the other side.

Walked right in around 2 in the afternoon, place wasn't crowded, meals were tasty and out quickly. They let DH taste all the beers before he decided on one as well.

We had lunch at Big River in June. The food was pretty good but I thought the prices were high for a non-Disney restaurant. Couple of things I did not like.....The interior is not as clean as Disney restaurants. Also, because they have single doors to the outside flies get in easily and it's very annoying to eat with them around your food.
There are a lot of better places to eat in the boardwalk area.

WE had dinner there early in October. A "so-so" meal at best. The burgers were good, and I found the Octoberfest beer to my liking. The meatloaf, unfortunately, has "headed South". No hint of any Italian sausage, very dry, and almost no gravy to speak of.
Service was perky, nonchalant, inattentive, friendly--all rolled into one. Inside still seems a bit drab, so outside on the Boardwalk may be a better bet.

I like that we tell the truth here on the Restaurant Board....... We ate there last April for the first time. I thought the service was good, we had a cutie waiter who seemed new and was doing the best he could with lots of smiles. I thought the food was average, the decor interesting, but the place was very noisey....I did it once, I probably would not go back unless I had no other choices... JMO
