So I have a plan to head over to Boardwalk following Fantasmic one night of our trip for some drinks at Big River Grill (DH's request). How's the beer here? DH considers himself a bit of a beer connoisseur  which is why he wants to try the micro-brewery

They have a fairly wide selection (5-7) of their brews at any given time. I've always enjoyed them. I'd recommend getting a "flight" of them to see which ones your DH likes. I believe the portions in the flight are 4 ounces each. IIRC, its a sample of every flavor they have at that given time. :thumbsup2

It's OK. It's the same company as Gordon Biersch if that helps. It's going to depend on how much of a connoisseur he is.

If you're looking for beer, I'd head to ESPN next door instead. If you're looking for the best burger on property though, Big River is the place..

If going for beer, it's one of the best options at WDW. I'd say right near the top, along with Raglan Road and ESPN Club, if I were going out for beer.

Beers are pretty good and a change of pace from the somewhat standardized beer list that exists at many WDW restaurants. I also recommend the flight so you can try them all!

DH and I love the food and the atmosphere at Big River Grille...it is a must do on every trip...cant' wait to eat there in 8 days

Well, if we were up that late at night, my husband might want to join you! Big River Grille is great for burgers and beer. Or, beer and burgers. Or, beer. Or, burgers. Or burgers and beer. Or beer and burgers.

I think you will have a great time.
