Big River Grille ??

Good Morning,

We are heading to WDW in 14 days and have made our ADR's for all the nights except one. And that night we are thinking about going to the Boardwalk and trying out the Big River Grille. Has any one tried it??? Is it good?? And what do they offer that is on the DP???

After not going to Big River for my first 3 years at BWV, we have each year for the past 3 years.

Some things that stand out:

They have an excellent selection of their own Micro Brewed Beers. Last year my DW had the sampler which was fun. Also last year I had a Cheeseburger their which was done to perfection.

This past May I tried the Beer Cheese Soup which was Great.

Also this past May Both myself and my DS had strip steaks, that were prepared nicely, other DS the Meatloaf which he raved about because it had sausage in it. My DW had (I think) Pecan Crusted Chicken. Other Apps were good too, we had a quesadilla, and Hummus dip.

Deserts were nice too.

The wait time wasn't long, and the service was very good too. On a side note last year we were also given a tour of their Mini Micro Brewery.

I say give it a shot, I can't imagine that it would disapoint you!

Thanks for all the input on the BRG!!! We are going on Saturday the 19th, our fourth night on the DDP!!! Hopefully my clothes will still fit by then!

can i ask you how much it cost for the pics after the wedding at the different spots?

They weren't extra pics... we were married on the Boardwalk, and our reception was in MGM. So the pics in my sig were just poses at the locations where we already were.

We stayed at the Boardwalk over Memorial day week and we ate there one evening and it was very good.
We sat outside and just relaxed for a while and took in the sites and sounds of the Boardwalk.

They have a great location and the service was good.

Nothing fancy, just a nice relaxing place to sit outside and get a bite too eat!

We went to Beaches and Cream our first afternoon and it was so hectic and packed. We got there at 2pm and there was still an hour wait!!!! Too hot to walk back to the BWV so we just waited in the arcade and ate there. It was very good, but I wished we had just gone the the Big river grill.

We are giving this place a try in Sept for a first as well. I do not hear much about it so I am glad you asked. I am looking forward to it.
