Just ate there Saturday night for the first time. I thought it was okay. I had the halibut and it was very very dry. Not good at all. The mashed potatoes that came with it tasted funny, I didn't even eat them. DH had the ribs and he thought they were good. Not the best, but definitely good. Kids both had mac and cheese, it was goopy and reminded me of the "rubber boots and cheese" that we used to get for lunch at school as kids. Neither of them ate more than 1 - 2 fork fulls.
Now for the pluses. I thought the beer selection was good (and we're from Milwaukee, we know our beer). I especially enjoyed the red ale, DH liked the brown ale. Also, the desserts were both very good. Only two to choose from, but since we're on the
DDP we had one of each (a chocolate concoction and a cheesecake). Seriously, the best cheesecake I've ever had in my life. And the chocolate thing was almost as good. So we had great beer and great dessert, the stuff in between was only okay.
The atmosphere inside (it was raining, so no outside seating that night) was very nice, good pub atmosphere but friendly enough for the kids. Also, our server was really great even though she said it was her first night. She messed up a bit on the dining plan, but we all got through it okay (and really, who could blame her, it's just been SO confusing at every restaurant we've been to so far).
So I say it's a good place to catch a burger or other pub food, but I wouldn't expect fine cuisine.
