Big River Grille @ Boardwalk

Haven't been back since the pandemic started but I thought it was great! Popped in for lunch while waiting for our room at Boardwalk to be ready. Would certainly go back in the future.

I had a reservation on MDE and security gate required that I log in to verify …but Open Table would be easy to take a screen shot .
I went last week and the tables on the brewery side were blocked off due to recent water issues from rain … So I don’t know if the Brewery is functioning It seemed kinda dark so probably not… The table across ordered the ribs and desserts and cleaned their plates! I ordered the club sandwich but served more like a grilled cheese with ham sandwich. it was good . The person I was with ordered their steak and said it was good. I don’t think I will go again…
Thank you

If you're looking for a Craft Brewery like most of us have locally now -this is about as far from that as you could imagine.
Sorry to revive a zombie thread, but I'm curious to hear thoughts on this. Just focusing on the beer, rather than the food, what can I expect? Does it come up short in terms of creativity, complexity, and quality? (Many chain brewpubs can be accused of that.)

Somewhat …but it’s been a couple years(at least) since I was there. It’s not horrible -even local breweries have a couple beers that aren’t that great. I’d give it a try for the beer -pretty sure you can still pop in and drink it outside so not a lot invested. My point was more towards beer/food combo …but you won’t find any beers highlighted in beer advocate!

If I can remember I only liked one of their beers, but it has been years since we have been at this point. Like the PP said even breweries have bad beers. I just wouldn't go there expecting great beer. :)
