I'm assuming we need reservations for this place? Can we walk there from Epcot? How is the food?

Thanks! ;)

No reservations. They don't even take reservations.

They do some kind of "call ahead" thing if you phone them directly but they'll probably laugh if you call them six months out.

Yes, you can walk there from Epcot.

Food's ok, nothing special, the appetizers are pretty good, and there is beer.

We're going next month during Food & Wine. I'm planning on being in Epcot on a Tuesday and would like to walk over there for dinner. I'm just wondering if it will be crazy busy because of F&W. We had ADRs at Via Napoli but we'll be "Italianed-out" by then and wanted to just get some decent American fare.

from our experience "decent" might be expecting a little more than they have to offer.....

I'd expect it to be less busy because of F&W. More people will be eating around World Showcase rather than going to restaurants. Which is a good point - do you really want to do a regular restaurant when you can enjoy lots of different choices at F&W?

I'd have to agree with this post. I was less than impressed when I ate their a couple years ago. If I just want to have a few beers, I'd rather hang out at the hotel bar...

I have not been there but I can say once you exit Epcot at the International Gateway it's a 5 minute walk or you can take the boat and if you do the Boardwalk is the 1st stop.

Well I can't disagree more. We've patronized them many, many times and always had very acceptable fare. Their micro brews are worth trying, and it's very nice to dine on the boardwalk and enjoy the sights, sounds, and other folks relaxing. Now, the service hasn't always been the sharpest however. In fact for our first evening dining experience during the upcoming F&W festival, our group has reservations at Flying Fish, yet both DD and I are scheming a way to ditch FF and go to BRG instead.
