Has anyone had dinner here. I can't find much about it. If so how did you like it?

Is this the restaurant on the Boardwalk? If so, we've ate there. It was good, the atmosphere was just okay, a little hectic (we had a big group).

We've eaten there twice. The first time I was not impressed, so it was several years before we went back. The second time was very good. I had a yummy buger and great chocolate cake for dessert. The decor is kinda boring .. service can be hectic. There are seats outside on the Boardwalk that are nice. You cannot make ADRs.

My mom walked out of there last week in complete disgust.

The dining room floor was filthy and the tables had some unidentified funk. She ordered a hot dog for our little one that came out only partially cooked. Her dish had also obviously been sitting under a heat lamp. The food was inedible, so she left.

Fair--at best. Even their vaunted meatloaf has gone bad--dry and virtually no Italian sausage apparent the last time we ate there (October). Beer now seems their main attraction--if you can get the server to bring you some (service issues too).

You can make reservations for Big River by calling them directly. You cannot make them through Disney Dining.
Anyway....please don't waste your time and money. We had lunch there in June on our last day at WDW. The food was not bad, but I thought very overpriced since it's not a Disney restaurant. The inside had some kind of musty odor and was not up to Disney standards in any way. Since there are only single doors to the outside the flies were able to get inside very easily and made it very annoying while we were eating.
There are so many better places to eat in the boardwalk area. Go over to allearnet.com and click on dining and menus for the Epcot resorts (Boardwalk, Yacht Club, Beach Club, Swan and Dolphin).

We've eaten here twice in the past and enjoyed it, not great but good. But it sounds as if it has slipped recently. If that is the case is is too bad, it was a nice option
