big problems getting to Logan Airport, Boston via Rt 90

I wonder if anyone will be made to pay for this negligence. I suspect that the blame will be pursued and will end up in a dead-end, some entity that no longer exists and/or for which there are no assets of value to attach to remedy the situation.

I am sure something like that is what will be in the end. It has us furious here in Boston, the more you hear a loved one say I was in that tunnel that day and stuff, we get more mad! I know 2 people that were in there, one saw the car under the ceiling pieces, it had just happened and one 15 mins before, I am only one person, imagine how many of us were in danger/are in danger! I was taking the tunnel thru to S Boston everyday, but not anymore! I work 2nd shift and yesterday 93N was a freaking mess and I crawled from Braintree and ended up getting off and going thru S Bos and was still 30 mins late! The whole tunnel area is now a huge backup Ya and this Big Dig was going to make traffic better??? Pahleeze- what a mess!!

Just heard on the local news that the tunnel in question is going to be closed indefinately. Thats really gonna mess up the whole traffic situation to no end...

when we go to logan my dad takes us and we go back roads thru chelsea
i wont be going thru that tunnel
espeically since they found at least 60 more issues in the tunnel

Well, except to get to the airport or to theatre, I have not traveled much around Boston in the past 6-7 years. I *used to* take the S. Boston exit and shoot down Atlantic Ave and be able to bypass 93N traffic to the Callahan Tunnel. After all the construction, can this still be done?

Also, before the "connector" was completed wasn't I picking up the entrance to the Ted Williams Tunnel somewhere else??? Down past the Children's Museum, maybe???

ITA, in the end I doubt there will be any serious accountability for this. There is a lot of grandstanding by the present AG/future Gubernatorial Candidate which is shameless, IMO. What were the serious "consequences" to the person/persons responsible for all the flooding problems due to fraud & negligence?
