Hey, just got back and was working on my photopass pictures......FYI they are running a April fools special if you buy a CD you get the movie for free! I have been playing with making a movie from all of our trips to WDW and DLR. Unfortunately(for people with just DLR pictures) the movie is really geared for WDW but what a deal!

I had a great trip. perfect weather!

On the photopass page just click the "specials tab" I think the code is "foolmovie"? I am excited to get the movie, it sounds great, and also includes a slideshow of all of your pictures set to Disney music. I made my movie from 5 different trips.

That is great. I just received our CD's and the photopass album that I made. I have to say, I am a bit underwhelmed with the finished product, which ended up costing $122. The tools they provide are so poor that you can't see if your photos are blurry, or if they have red eye or what. Even if they do, and they are photopass pics, you can't edit red eye anyhow. The primary problem was with pics that I uploaded. I guess my suggestion would be to use other programs to edit all you pics into usable format before uploading them to the photo pass website. It is just all so time consuming, and the pressure is really on with the 30 day deadline.
I have considered the movie, and that is a good deal. It seems like the specials change pretty frequently. I wonder if anyone has done a chart of what the specials are and how frequently they are offered in a given 30 day period. I did get $20 off my album by ordering at the same time as the CD.

Oh, I also ordered some prints and they turned out great. Although again, I would like to order sizes other than 4x6, which is the only option for your own photos.

So if you want to order a photo book, you have to have the book ready within that 30 day time frame??

What happens to the pictures in the Photopass account after 30 days? Do they stay there and can you order anything using Photopass photos past the 30 days?

Since you bought the CD it is much cheaper to take it to wallgreens etc and make whatever size prints you want.

OP Yes, the photos all go away after 30 days. Disney will not continue to store them.
I uploaded my personal trip photos so that I could incorporate those into the album that I made. You can add borders and effects to your personal photos. Your personal photos don't get saved on the CD when you order it, so they are just there for the album, or to add effects to and then order prints, which are 19 cents each for the 4x6 which is the only option available for your personal uploaded prints. You can order the photopass prints for outrageous prices too though, in many different sizes. I have previously ordered the CD and then tried to print the pictures at Costco in various sizes and it is difficult to get them to print correctly with the borders and whatnot. I have gotten a lot of advise about how to correct this and will figure it out before I order any prints this time.

I am in a Photopass share and will be getting the CD. I won't have enough time to get the book made though if the pics are gone after 30 days. I was planning on printing my CD pics at Costco.......so if you can offer any advice on getting the pics to print correctly, I'd sure appreciate it!!
