Last night I noticed a biiiiig hidden Mickey on the sidewalks along Disneyland Drive.
I was looking at Hydroguy's tips, and found myself on gmaps, looking at the hotels in walking distance. And as I moved the map around, seeing where various hotels were and how close to other things they were (the anabella is so close to the Pumbaa parking lot and its tram, I should have checked that out while there!), I noticed something.
I can't figure out how to directly link you there, so I'll describe it.
google maps, satellite view.
search for 1717 S. Disneyland Drive
get the satellite view almost as "close" as you can (I have mine one step from as close as possible), and center the picture so you have Paradise Pier towards the top, with DCA rides (SunWheel, CA Screamin') on the right, and you'll see where the paths along Disneyland Drive make an interesting shape.
I wondered why on earth those paths did that, while walking it twice a day during our Anabella stay, and now I know!
