I thought some of you may appreciate this. We have been recently using Southeast Airlines which flys into Sanford Orlando (approximately 50 minutes from Disney), instead of MCO. This is such an advantage for us because now we can use a local airport (Stewart International in Newburgh, NY) which is only 15 minutes away from our home. We use to have to drive 1.5 hours (to Albany, NY) to use Southwest Airlines. Not only is Southeast so convenient for us but it's cheaper then Southwest!
Anyway, I was getting rates for our car rental, which by the way I got a real good rate using The entertainment book coupon for National. I looked at what it would cost if we used National at MCO. The price was $300 dollars more!!!
So, if any of you thrifty people can use Sanford/Orlando airport instead of MCO you would be saving money in car rentals.
I am one happy, frugal person, that's for sure!!!
