I had some questions earlier about the checkin and someone sent pics of what each page looks like as Im going through it which was very helpful
but going over it I have a few more questions
these seemed to be pics from doing checkin on the app
there was a spot that had a button marked upload and the camera button
now if I use my phone for the check in can I use the camera button to take the head shots and also passport pics and then hit upload and it will go to where its supposed to go
I dont really like using apps or my phone for things like booking or signing in but if Im right on the above sounds like it could easier--I like to use the computer since the it easier to follow and read

also I read how people just fill in basic items like for on board payment just put cash to get through faster Im not looking for super early boarding just want to get through the check in since all the uploading still has me nervous about doing this
one last question as far as the head shots
do I take them sort of like how the passport pics are done

so can we keep RX glasses on not to smile

once again sorry about all the questions after this week I should be set

Even if you use the App to do checkin, it will open a browser page for you. From there you can upload or take a photo. Yes, the photo should be similar to passport photo showing head and shoulders. It can not be the same as your passport photo.

I've always used my computer (19 cruises). Never had a problem. Upload my pictures and passports ahead of time to the desktop so all I have to do is attach them when I get to that part. Yes, just fill in the basic items. Can always go back and make changes later. Yes, pictures like the passport. You will be fine...it's pretty easy. Have a wonderful cruise!

Use the computer. I use Safari on my iPad - not the app. Whatever is easiest for you. Whatever method you use to get to the DCL website.

You don’t have to skip / put in “Cash” for payment - if you aren‘t trying for that low PAT.

Just go step by step.

(A nice feature is for people who travel together - you can select to apply the same travel and emergency contact info to other guests in your party. There will be this question at the end of filling it in for the first person.)

Photos (selfies) - just read the rules. My photo has no glasses, my sister’s does. Guess that wasn’t a rule. Her passport photo has her in glasses and smiling - it’s a legit passport.

It seems they are most concerned with a solid background, you centered in the photo, and a photo that is not too big in file size (just a basic selfie against a blank wall). They will notify you if it is unacceptable. Or take a photo of you at the port.

And they don’t want the identical photo as your passport (like using the extra you get when you get your passport photo was taken).

And don’t be worried when it says “Pending Review.” Everybody’s does. It can be that way for a long time.

(I kept getting boggled, myself, last week. When I finished a section - it will Not let you move on if the info is not inputed correctly - I would see “No information yet” listed under our names. What? Because it was on the next section already. Just click the name and keep going. And have a laugh.)

Just have your photos available for upload like you do your eBay ones. Sounded like you have that mastered.
