Youngest son takes his driving test today. :yay:

Next to youngest son goes to Phoenix today for a finalist-interview for the best dang academic scholarship in the state. :woohoo:

So excited and happy for both of them. If you can spare some pixie dust and a good thought or two, throw'em our way. We need all the luck we can beg, borrow, or steal. :goodvibes

Sending lots of :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes and pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: to you and your family. Good luck!

Wishing the whole gang lots of magical pixie dust!!! :grouphug: :grouphug:

Update:
Youngest Son passed his driver's test! Woo-hoo for him. :thumbsup2

Next to Youngest Son thinks his interview didn't go too badly. It was AMAZING listening to the stories about some of the kids already in the program -- one girl (a math/bioscience major) took a semester to study philosophy at Oxford; and another's research actually lead to the break-up of an eastern European human-trafficking ring :scared1: (at 22 years of age). We should know whether he's offered a position in this program three weeks from now -- and guess where we'll be??? Yup --WDW. We are both so torn about whether to have DH call us with the news or wait until we get home...

THANKS FOR ALL THE GOOD WISHES AND PIXIE DUST!!!! YOU FOLKS ARE THE BEST!!!!:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Glad to hear about it!

Or should I say "I'm sorry" because now your son has access to wheels? :scared1:

(I'm also kind of bumping this to get rid of the offensive post that is still showing on the main forum listing).

count me in!:thumbsup2

need me to bring anything?

Just your own sweet self! :) And Mr. Shrek too, if he is so inclined.
That goes for you too, David, of course!

(although -- everyone should be fore-warned; there are likely to be a bunch of unpredictable (read: possibly intermittently grumpy) little people there as well.)
