I am guessing because he is part of duo with Sam. Seems they are bent on breaking up pairs. And they want to backdoor because he would have full blown tantrum as you saw the little bit of that when Sam almost replaced Haleigh with him. And there is also the likable and sympathy factor for jury if he is F2...maybe nobody could beat him in F2?????
Except level 6 was really level 8 as Sam and JC have been voting with them the whole time. So L6 will be L4plus2 voting block against Foot(now down to Bay, Fessy, Rockstar, Hay...4) who knows where Scotty's vote lies...I think with Foot4. So will be 6 VS 5 and Bay will have to use power to make 5 VS 5. Except that Foot alliance cant seem to figure out who is part of Foot and who is part of L6. Bay would likely put up Brett and Angela as they are the only definites she knows.Level 6 alliance of Tyler, Angela, Kaycee along with Sam and JC plan on evicting Rachel come Thursday but they are not letting Bayleigh, Haleigh, Fessy, Scottie or Angie know till after they vote. Level 6 feels that they are better with Brett because he is more level headed that what Rachel has shown herself to be.

Sam was already going to keep Brett per her conversation with Angela last night but now it's "locked in." Sam is going by the theory of " who is the better roommate' along with the fact she doesn't like that Rachel runs around the house making deals (which is what you are supposed to do in the game)
Bayleigh has lead the "we're evicting Brett" campaign to Fessy, Haleigh, Scottie and Angie. Level 6 is simply agreeing and nodding along for the time being.
Rachel feels she will be staying and she is still working Bayleigh for more information on her Identity Theft Power to bring back to Level 6. She's a good ally for them. This is information Brett could never get for them. They will now have a leg up for next week as long as Level 6 wins HOH.
Otherwise if "THE HIVE Alliance" Bay, Fes, Hal, Angie,Scottie win HOH Level 6/5/4 will be on the block and won't have the numbers to save themselves.

Not really and Tyler threw him, or tried to throw him, under the bus tonight. He told Bay that Scotty was his new #1 person so that when he used the veto Bay would be mad and put up Scotty thinking he was Tyler's #1 person. Tyler was planning to use Veto but didnt when he found out about Bay's power app.
