There were times during last nights show when I really liked Dick. When he was talking about how getting closer to his daughter is worth more than the money and when he was with her and told her that he'd stop acting up and just enjoy the time in the house he has with her. Yet he has gone way over the line on more than one ocassion. Game play is one thing but I think he takes it too far. Even though I know Danielle going up to the HOH room was mostly game play I do feel for her that she does get blamed for a lot of what he does. I would have loved to see her really play her own game. The twist this year with the 3 pairs (Dick/Danielle, Jessica/Carol, Joe/Dustin) just didn't work for me.

It's become more than a game.. it's become a reflection of what people find appealing and choose to side with. It speaks volumes.

My thoughts exactly. It's far too easy to just say it's a game. In reality it is much, much more than that. It is yet another example of people forgiving homophobia and racism in the name of entertainment.

I think they're all disgusting. But it's like a train wreck at this point and I keep watching to see who will crash and burn.

It is sad when a homophobic abuser becomes so popular, i was so offended tonight by ED that I could not believe it. To sit there and call Dustin "princess" he should have just called him f*****. And the way everyone wants Dustin out is shocking that you all support homophobic abusers.
Thanks for the eye opener.

Not everyone. IMO the Dick supporters are liking the drama not the man...I hope.

Dick is a jerk on so many levels I want him to go.

I'm amazed so many people think ED's verbal abuse is part of his "game"...it is just as likely his tender "moments" with his daghter is his "game" to garner sympathy from America.

I agree, the vile way he used "Princess" was disturbing, and his rant against religion was over the top. There are ways to make people dislike you (as that was supposedly his "game") enough to vote you out without resorting to schoolyard bullying and insults. If this is what "America" find entertaining, it speaks volumes about why we are in the situations we are in worldwide. ED needs a mental health professional more than Amber, and neither belong on national television. I'm through with the show, I don't care who wins anymore. If producers showed that on the regular TV, think of how much was edited out...the producers dropped the ball, allowing abuse in favor of ratings.

And amazing, this show airs at 7PM and 8 PM in the central time zone...how many kids are watching this? Yet parents will think this is entertaining?

I am sorry when has DIck made any racist remarks. If anything this game is showing Jameka's true colors. She goes on and about God and questioning others about their faith and then turns around and calls Dick's mom a B****. Give me a break!!!!! As for the comments it is all in the game he is trying to rattle them and it is working!!! I think he is rude and vulgar but deserves to win because he is playing the game unlike most of the others.

I am not an ED fan. I think he is a bully. He uses the verbal tirades because he's not smart enough to be manipulative. And I find the comparison between ED and Will to be ridiculous.

But without him, this season would be so, so boring.

After a will I dont know how anyone under such bulling could not say something to him.
First, he called her a b... and then she said your mother is a . It is a common east coast phrase. Someone says somethign to you, you then reply your mother to get back at them. She is showing how childish what he is doing is.
She is not meaning it.
I think Dani ws unreal last night, I hope the other HG see through that.
To say all that, and not mean it. Read her blog the girl is a selfish thing.
But I guess with a Dad like that, what else would you trun out to be.

They might have had some names but really the "ABUSE" ED throws at these is sickening. Not even the fact the of what he did to Dustin, how about jameka, now I am not a christian, and I was so offended by some of the things he said. if I was on the show I would have had the producers kick him out by threatening a lawsuit. I would not want to be put into a house for 3 months with a psychopath like him. And sorry this is not good tv, it is "Sick" tv. If he stays I am done with it. Only so much I can see someone berate people and he has done enough.

I have more of a problem with Jameka claiming to be a christian and then using the type of language she uses and clapping her hands in front of Dick's face, there have been a few times she has provoked him into a confrontation. I find it a bit uncomfortable to watch at times when people are arguing with Dick because the insults and words spoke are harsh from all involved. Jameka and Amber don't like for Dick to say things to them about their personal lives like religion and Ambers daughter but they have no problem bringing up his problems with his daughter. I don't have a favorite in this house but I think Zach is playing the best game just by sitting back and wathcing them all freak on each other, he may just squeak right under the radar and before they know it he'll be in the final two!

ITA!:thumbsup2

I am so bored with the show, I don't even care if I watch or not anymore.

Last night, Zach had the dinner with Jessica in the backyard. Zach was saying all sorts of stuff, trying to get her to see both sides of either getting ED out or getting Dustin out. He was going on and on and on and on, but he did have valid points. Jessica played who Jameka was the first few days of the show: all she said was "yep" and "right" and "uh-huh." Then after ALL this (with ED interrupting because he need to come outside to have his cigarette), he says "I've made up my mind. I'm voting to evict Dick ... unless you tell me not to." That's when Jess says, "Right, until I tell you not to." So, who knows who Zach will wind up voting for.

Whatever. I don't like ED. Dustin doesn't bother me, but I am ambivalent about him. I don't really care which one goes. I think the more I watch the live feeds, the more they are talking about their "handlers" and how popular they must be. I think they are just too full of themselves. There is no Will who has roped me in and has me rooting for him or her. Dr. Will at least told HGs to their faces: don't believe a word I say. I'm probably lying. His DR sessions were classics. There haven't been any good DR sessions this year. They've all been snooze-fests.

I hope BB stirs things up a bit soon. But, the problem is, I don't care about any of these players enough. So, even if they stir the pot, there is still no one I'm rooting for.

Can CBS do anything to improve the show or is it beyond repair?

I too missed the old days of Dr. Will/ Mike Boogie and several others. I loved watching the BB all-star shows. It was great at the time, now I'm like "eh" to the current BB.

It seems that Eric got his orders to vote Dustin out. He's trying to talk to Jessica about flipping the vote. (This was after Showtime according to Morty's). I guess we'll have to see what happens today to get a better idea.

Man I laughed so hard during last night's show.
I loved it when the rock music started to play because you knew it meant Dick was going to get started doing something evil!

His imitation of Amber as a Vegas cocktail waitress was HILARIOUS!

I know he is an a**, but I do find him very amusing.

I really hope Dustin gets the boot this week.

There were a lot of people on here saying that they want to look Dick up when they're in LA, and get in touch with him though his Myspace. Yay, let's all get a chance to be berated by a deadbeat! :woohoo:

Jameka and Amber don't like for Dick to say things to them about their personal lives like religion and Ambers daughter but they have no problem bringing up his problems with his daughter.

His daughter's in the house. She's a contestant and a part of the game. As soon as they used the "twist" to get themselves on the show, the problems between the two of them became a part of the game. As much as I HATE Amber, there's a difference between bringing up the situation between two contestants who make their differences a major part of the house, and swearing on someone else's little girl's life.

I think most of these so call confrontations are orchestrated by the producers. There is no way these people would specifically go out of their way to stand in the same room as him... it seems to be set up.

I also agree that Zach is playing a good game but so is Jen now. She practically made herself wallpaper. It's imperative to fly low in BB and in Survivor to make it to the end.

They're all making a's of themselves in some way. No one doesn't have a skeleton in their closet and to release them on national TV is sooo ridiculous. None of these people have my respect but some have totally turned me off. In the end, and I don't mean the end of this dumb show, they'll all get what they deserve.

I don't know if it's beyond repair but it is definitely the worse season ever. I don't find any of them amusing anymore because they've all gone over the line. No one is even remotely LIKEABLE.

I don't have anyone to cheer FOR but plenty to root against. I'd vote out Daniele and Jessica just for the grating sounds of their voices...where IS that MUTE button?

I wouldn't be sad if the show was cancelled mid season. What a fiasco!! :lmao:

As annoying as Amber is with her crying, after watching the showtime show from Mon, the #1 person that I do NOT want to win is Daniele. She is such a whiny immature brat! "no one likes me, i have to eat slop, its not my fault my dad acts like this, no one talks to me, i'm not happy, i want to go home" Its never ending! And she uses the "its not my fault" with her dad at her convenience...she doesn't say anything to him when its something she wants him to do or say to get the other houseguests mad. And if you're so unhappy since your love interest left (oh, btw, you have a boyfriend at home) then leave already.

Did people miss when ED said he was going to make their lives a living hell? :confused3 He's not smart enough to manipulate people, like Will did, so all he's got is name calling and yes, he's gone way over the line. To assume people who enjoy the drama are supporting the sentiments of ED's words though is a bit offensive IMO.
