BIG BROTHER 19! SPOILER THREAD! "SUMMER OF TEMPTATION"

Cody is the worst. The absolute worst. Jessica is the second worst by association.

Her DR tonight was gold. Whiny. "they're so stupid. we're safe. what a waste." UM NO. Paul doesn't know this, but he's flushing your hex. She thought she could strong-arm him. Yeah right. Nice try, sweetheart.

Last week was AWFUL. When Cody was pretending to be interested in Christmas's NASCAR story. I was genuinely, for a moment, like, "Wow.. he does have a personality. He's smiling and being sociable. How nice." AND THEN HIS D.R. OMG. "It's cool but whatever." It must be exhausting to be SO APATHETIC ALL THE TIME.

She's a brat plain and simple. I still want to see an audited tally of America's votes last week that prove Jess was the favorite. I have a really, really hard time buying that!

And I also want to sit down with the producers and find out why Christmas was given such a worthless temptation while Paul and Jess got the juicy ones.

It funny I was just thinking hearing Cody tonight seemed to be really social on this epsiode. Do you have live feeds? Listen to him talk about his daughter.

I watched Jody fighting two nights on BBAD, I was surprised the producers didn't use any of that.
I wish Paul had only put up Cody, making Jess decide if he was worth using the hex for or choosing to save it for herself.

I don't do live feeds. Sometimes I try to follow the BB19 tag on tumblr, but they're all nuts.

Cody's Daughter: "Hey daddy I scored a goal in my soccer game tonight."
Cody: "I don't care."

EXACTLY. I almost wonder if something terrible happened to him that like, broke him and so he's closed himself off from human connection to protect himself.

I saw the fights, too. I thought for sure they would call off their relationship but then the next day they are making out. She can be icy cold to him.

Both Elena and Jessica talk to their guys like they are two when they are fighting.

Not a bad thought. The danger is if Jessica would have won POV and pulled Cody off. Paul still has the veto so I'm hoping he pulls Jess down and nominates someone like Josh. Get the whole house to tell Jess that Josh is going home. Jess perhaps doesn't want to use the Hex so she can save it for herself while still maintaining a glimmer of hope that Cody will be saved.

Did I miss it, or have they not yet announced what the whole house "consequence" is for Jessica taking the temptation?

That happened after the nomination ceremony so they will probably be on Wednesday's episode.

It was announced to viewers in Thursday night and to the houseguests on Friday. It's the temptation compitition...the bowlerina comp on last night's episode.

Very interesting that Jessica is campaigning Paul to pull her off with veto. Leads me to believe she won't use HEX if Paul does that.

Paul just needs to let her use the hex and move on, why is he going to get rid of Alex???
They just showed him telling her that no one knows about their alliance....geesh......
I like Alex, she's the most normal one in the house.

Cody is scarred from the Marines I guess, he's just a cold person, combat can do that to a person.

Why Josh is nuts lol. He likes to pick at people. I disagree I think Mark afraid of his shadow. He cries and whines as much as Josh does.

I am beyond disappointed and disgusted with Mark -- what has happened to him! And after Cody threw him under the bus on his way out of the house, he decides to schmooze with them again and side with the very two the house hates! Go figure.

And with Paul using his HOH to nominate two people who can't go home -- the only benefit is they use up their hex one week early. But then Jess crying in the DR about it makes me think she is really upset she loses out on having it another week.

Paul blaming Jess for not being more upfront about her hex I don't get at all :confused3 She point blank asked him several times if he wanted the details and he said no, he didn't care.

Just a little question:

These people realize that the whole world can see their behavior, right?

Future employers, future clients, future inlaws??

OMG, that is so funny. And there have been people from both BB and Survivor who have lost their jobs over things they did or said on those shows!

Alex is the best player in the house -- and most normal! And Cody definitely has some "dangerous" issues -- he looks like he could lose it at any moment and become volatile. I think he is a time bomb -- especially with Josh. I think he's going to get physical with someone.

Was the incident with Cody screaming at Paul in the regular show last night (haven't watched yet) or on night feed? What was Cody screaming about. When he gets mad, he's very scary!

Actually it was Cody that was mean initially. He told Megan "Megan I'm nominating you just because I don't like you very much." And then he insulted Paul right before he tried to nominate him. So Cody is getting his now.

I truly hate Cody and in all the seasons I don't remember a majority of the house playing together like this without "alliances" splitting up the groups. Personally, I love that Paul has his "army" and they are all loyal and faithful to each other. And they have more than proven that they have a mind of their owns: Alex, Kevin, Christmas and Jason have all voiced their opinions about decisions and their feelings about doing it. I love Paul because he truly knows the game and human psyche -- I love when he goes in the DR and disses people for either listening to him or making bad moves (like what Jess did last week by listening to Cody and not taking Ramses down and put up Alex to ensure Josh's departure). I think she lost her mind after she realized she got played because she listened to Cody. But Paul is a real people watcher and knows that many of these people are making dumb moves or thoughtless moves.

I agree. From what I understand Cody served 2 tours of duty overseas. These men and women who go over there and fight for our freedom are never the same when they come home, whether it's physically scarred, mentally scarred or both and this country does not do enough to help them when they come home, in my humble opinion. Yes, Cody does seem very cold and robotic, but considering what he has gone through, I will not judge him. I'm not saying he probably doesn't scare people in the house, but if you think about what he has gone through, you can understand more of why he is the way he is. Is the Big Brother house the place Cody should be, probably not, more for his sake than anyone else's.

On to something lighter, lol, I can't stand Josh!!! OMG, he thinks he is so funny banging the pots and pans, like he's this big tough guy, but did you see how he went back when Mark charged him. (you can search it on youtube). Again, I have no respect for Josh after he got in the face of Megan, then he whines when people get in his face. He's all tough now because Paul needs him, just wait until Paul doesn't need him anymore. He'll be back in the bathroom crying again.

My original post stated that "someone home " in her one HOH. We can agree to disagree but the math doesn't add up. Jessica 1 HOH someone leaves. Paul 2 HOH .....

I cannot remember why Paul's first HOH didn't produce an elimination!?!

I definitely missed any conversations about Cody having a daughter! Was he married? How old is she?

Jess and Cody should never have shown Paul how upset they were. They should have played it cool, like they didn't care. Obviously Jess is upset because she will be forced to use it, she wanted to get another week out of it. I'm sure Paul realizes that she's just upset she has to use it versus lying she even has a power.

If they are actually talking about getting rid of Alex, maybe they found out what the hex was and Paul didn't want to waste his HoH so let's get Alex out. The only thing is Jess or Cody will still be on the block so I'm sure Jess will use the hex even if they all insist they will vote out Alex over Cody (who I'm assuming will stay on the block) or maybe she won't use it. Cody did tell her not to use it on him, that he's hurting her game, to just let him be evicted. I guess we will have to wait and see.

WHY would he put up Alex instead of Mark or Elena!

A GREAT twist would be if Paul took Jess off, put up someone else, she didn't use the hex and we FINALLY get rid of Cody once and for all! That would probably open up a whole new set of alliances and wheeling and dealing and maybe liven up the show.

I'd rather be on the side of Cody/Jess instead of being a puppet on Paul's. But I still don't like Cody.

or... ONLY 1????
I agree. I started out REALLY disliking Cody, but I'm so sick of Paul that I'm not really minding Cody as much. I hate when ppl. make me want to defend ppl. I don't like because of how annoying their own actions are. He's so presumptuous (although I get that they allow him to be, but still, I can't stand entitled pushy ppl. like that.) He also can be and often is a pretty nasty person towards others especially if you watch after dark. The way and the things he says have really made me lose any respect for him.

I wonder if the others are ever going to realize how dumb and ridiculous they've looked just doing anything and everything Paul says. He just has a bunch of ppl. working for him to win. I get that's good for him and his game, and I guess I might feel different if it was someone I liked, but in this case for me, it just makes for a REALLY boring season.
