it was totally her fault for picking Austin over Johnny Mac in the competition. Clearly her mistake and somehow the tables get turned to make Austin look like the bad guy. Don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of his. But this is just ridiculous

I agree. Austin may not be the greatest guy...he DID cheat on his girlfriend on live TV and still manages to think he's amazing...but some of the things the twins say about him behind his back are really cruel. He must be really smitten because they treat him like crap!

You have to give Vanessa credit for what she pulled off at the Veto comp. Talk about a poker face. The way she convinced (although it didn't look like much convincing) Julia to pick Austin was epic. And then after the comp explaining to the twins why is was a good move and how she is a nice person was awesome. I don't really like this season especially after they voted off James and Meg but you have to give Vanessa credit for making it this far. I posted way back in the beginning of this thread that Vanessa will win and even though I don't really care for her she has played a good game. If there is a next season they need to pick people who apply to the show not people that they picked off of the street. The majority of the people picked had no idea what Big Brother was about they were just looking for tv time to maybe be "discovered". They need to get back to basics. The comps were lame, there was no pandoras box, no golden power of veto, etc. I just feel like this season could have been so much more than it was.

That's what makes Vanessa a great player. She turned that right around and put the blame on Austin.

I didn't like Vanessa at all when they game first started, but she an amazing player. If there was a list of best players ever she rank pretty high I'm sure. She reminds me a lot of how Derrick played last year.

I think Vanessa has done way more than Derrick did. Of cours, I LOATHE him so I could be biased lol

I agree with all that have said Vanessa has played this game well. Her poker profession has gotten her this far in the game. She is frigging good, I wonder if she cries at the poker table when she is bluffing and lying her way thru a tournament????

She will win, I really wish it would have been James but............She is one good manipulator.

I love BB and Survivor but I hate rewarding a manipulator. I get that's what it is about but still. I know I am the odd man out, lol.

I'm the same way. I always root for the underdog... and every season (of both shows) I am frustrated because they NEVER win.

I don't know if that true or not. In this game you almost have to manipulate to win.

Vanessa poker game is much like her BB game, without the whining and crying. Sometimes she sits back and just observes but most of the time she is incessantly talking driving everyone at the table nuts, according to my brother's poker pro friends, who have sat at a poker table with her for a 12 hour grind.

I think Vanessa's game playing skills seem as good as they are because the rest of the players are so weak. She really has just bullied (my apologies, maybe extort is a better word) her way through the game. The whole cast is very much afraid of conflict and her so it's easy for her to do.

I totally agree. I would have loved to see her try and play her game in a season with a lot of stronger players. She got lucky that the house was full of weak players, who were not playing their own game and apparently had no desire to. They seemed perfectly happy letting her take control.

100% agree. It would be fun to see how she would do against other strong players. It seems as though they only cast one per season.

I think Vanessa's game has been great and she probably should win but the way she talks "quietly" to ALL the players is for me like listening to nails on a chalkboard.
