Big Big News!

I have been trying to figure out which show I heard it on, but it was either While you were out or Trading Spaces, but one of the designers after assigning homework, and the groans started, she said as she walked out the door, Love ya, Mean it. I just about fell out of my chair. It was said so fast that it was easily missed. I just happened to be at my computer TV which is really close and watching intently when it happened.

Hey? Do they have any Ducks?

Dang it! Now I have to clean off my computer screen from spitting soda all over it!

We won't be able to join everyone but I can't wait for the trip reports. ::yes::

Is your brother rid of that awful troll woman yet?

Do your kids get a big Christmas Break.

Our schools in WI made a new rule, you couldn't miss more than 10 days. After 10 days, Social services will call and you get written up, unless your child has been sick and you have a Dr's excuse.

Kids around here can miss 10 days per quarter. They younger two will miss 6 total. Nikki will be in college and most colleges will be on vacation the entire time we are there. If she's not, she will fly out later.

And hopefully Chris wont be deployed.

We didn't have any problems with taking the kids out of school, they had homework to do that the teachers gave them ahead of time.

The teachers encouraged the family time! The kids have always had high marks and no real issues with keeping up. I might not even concider taking them out if it would effect their grades.

And during the time we are going, they aren't missing too much that close to vacation.

Ugg! NO! She isn't getting any better either.

And she doesn't know about this trip.

I still didn't get an answer about the terrorist ducks.

Looking on eBay for duck spray.

That's great, we leave in 21 days for PC, but we may be able to squeeze in another trip in Dec. Hope Em is felling better, it's been two weeks for me and I'm still not 100%. Now if I could just get my wife to stop saying, Love ya, Mean it, not really I love it too. I know someone is going to say it when we go to 50s Prime Time and we're both just going to bust out laughing. :firefight

Hey neighbor!

Way to go! I can hardley wait for the next trip report!:teeth:
With that crew, you should have rented DVC points and stayed in a 2 bedroom unit for much less money and twice the fun!!:bounce:

Kristie on Trading Spaces Family said it. I almost fell off the couch too. I was watching it on Tivo (one of the best inventions ever) and I had to rewind to make sure I heard it right. :)

Unfortunately, we won't be there for "Del-con" since we're going in October, but I can't wait to see your trip report! Pop Century looks so cool!

And here's hoping Evil SIL doesn't find out about the trip that she's not invited to! Poor Brother will have so much more fun without her there!

Good for you! Now you have the whole year to plan, plan and plan

Me either. When we were there last time we saw a family that were all wearing matching red shirts except for the mom.

The mom was wearing lime green.

When they walked past us, I tapped the mom on the shoulder and asked "Do you Dis?"

Nope, she didn't.

In fact she thought I said something differant, ahhh, how to explain on a family board?

Humm..

Replace the 'D' with a 'P' and add a 'S' to the end.

Her reply to that was "I BEG your pardon? Did you just say that to me?"

Ahhh, no need to beg lady, I stepped 'three people to the left' faster than I ever had.

I'll be looking for Ribbons this time! I hope to see you!

When I read you are going next Christmas, I thought wow, didn't she see how busy it has been the last few days.

Then I saw you posted that you will be there a couple of weeks before Christmas.

I wonder if search is working, I haven't been on the DIS boards for a few months, working 2 jobs.

Our school has changed it to 20 days per year. But I disagree with how they do this.. Because when my daughter misses class time for her ortho appointments it counts as a whole day for that class. I just got a letter from the school because of this. she has missed 9 days. One week she was really sick with the flu. The other 4 days - I guess was appointment and when her dad left for Ireland she went with me to take him to the airport ( he was leaving for 21 days).

delswife- I'll make sure each of our family members have a green ribbon on their back packs again, and last year ( oops Dec 2002) I had a green ribbon on our room door.

Thats a great idea, I'll be doing that too.

You have a beautiful family, love the huge Mickey!

Thanks Delswife..
I think my picture is too big.. I just posted a note on the tech board to figure how to make it smaller.

The twins rec'd a Large Mickey & Minnie for their bday..
Then Noah decided he was going to ask Santa for one. Thank goodness this was when the Disney Store had them buy one get one free. So we have 3 Large Mickey's and one Large Minnie's.

We're planning a Dec. weekend trip for dd's 5th birthday, Dec. 10-14 at the WL! I'll wear my lime green, hope to meet all of you!

Sounds like it will be DIS busy again in Dec. :bounce: Cool!!! :cool1:

Great pictures, Linda, very nice looking family, and yes, cool plush Mickey.

And yes, pics a bit too big. If you have a photo editor you can make them smaller (if you make them 200 wide, rather than 400 wide, they will be fine. Other dimension will adjust correctly) If no photo editor, Linda, email them to me and I will make smaller for you and email back.

Dan,
I just emailed you- I don't have a photo editor any more. When I lost my hard drive Thanksgiving day, it went bye bye.
Thanks
Linda

KrnB am I glad I wasn't the only one to hear that. Do you think she Dis's? I couldn't remember which one of the shows but since you mentioned it I now remember. That's neat.

That was my immediate thought too - especially the way she said it! She HAD to have read the trip report! :)
